The two boy's laughed, chasing one another in the sweet smelling flowers surrounding them, adding a pleasant aroma to the moment. The Korean hit the back of the Cuban boy, immediately running the opposite direction.
"Hey!" Lance laughed out, chasing the Korean. He grabbed the hem of his hood, after minutes of even trying to catch up to him, dragging them both down on the Lavender. They burst into painful fits of laughter, their sides aching from joy. It took minutes for them to calm down, out of breathe where it hurt to breathe. Keith rolled onto his side, a bright smile glowing his face up. Lance tilted his head, looking at the boy beside him, admiring the smile he missed so much.
For a few moments, the duo took their time to stare at each other, reminiscing in their peaceful state that they barely had time for.
"Hey, I have to ask, what do you want to be? You've never told me..." Lance asked, his smile slopping slightly. Keith looked at the ground, thoughts going through his mind. Finally, he drew in the ground beneath them, as he was resting on his notebook;
'Being a soldier would be cool'
Lance stared at the ground, a smirk tugging at his lips as his head rested in his palm.
"Knew it." He replied, looking up at the mute, the smirk still lingering there. He pointed at him, a questioning expression on his face. "Me? Probably go with the same job as the one I love has. And once I meet 'the one', I won't love anyone else if we ever broke up." Lance said, a cheesy smile replacing the smirk as his stared at the clouds, now rest on his crossed arms. Keith held a weak smile as well as hoping Lance wouldn't catch him staring.
The two balanced across an old wooden fence, ivy hung on the planks, and insects crawled across the decaying wood. Lance was in front of the mute, focusing on not falling. His face contorted with focus, he spun around to face his friend, wobbling lightly.
"Keith, dark subject, but what would you want doing with your body once you die?" Keith rose a brow, surprised at the sudden question. He thought for a moment, the question had never crossed his mind before. He took out his note book from his pocket, writing down his answer.
Cremated, then my ashes sprinkled on my favourite spot in the world. Hopefully my ashes can travel the world.
Lance smiled sadly, looking up at his face who mirrored his expression. He rested a hand on his shoulder, rubbing the joint softly.
"I hope I'll never see the day where you die. I want us to never die and live on with each other." Keiths' faced blush gently.
Both too caught up in the moment, they both lost balanced, and instinctively grasped each other's arms.
Unfortunately, they both fell down, Lance landing atop of the latter, who letting out a grunt when he hit the ground. They looked up at each other, and simultaneously burst into laughter.
"Heh! Still as clumsy as ever!" Lance barked. Keith rose an eyebrow, a playful smirk on his face. "What? I'm not clumsy!" his eyebrow rose further. "Ok! Fine! I'm as clumsy as you..." He pouted, a childish grumpy face on. The mute grinned, shuffling out from under the Cuban boy. Lance followed after, both dusting themselves off. "It's getting dark, think we should get going." Lance pointed to the direction of the road. The Korean boy nodded, and began to walk along with his friend. They spoke no words, no laughs shared, just peaceful silence hung between them.
Keith drove his friend back to the home, waving a quick goodbye, before he sped off to his new home, hurrying before sunset. He pulled up in his drive, climbing off the bike, hopping up the quick two steps and creaking the door open.
"Keith!" He groaned, his foster dad marching towards him. "Where have you been, and why do you reek of lavender?"
I was hanging out with Lance, and we went in a field.
"Do not stay out that long, your brother has been worried sick!"
"Keith!" Shiro called from the top of the stairs. "Tell me when you're going out ok!" Shiro scolded, rushing down the stairs to hug his foster brother. He hugged back weakly, then shuffled out of the embrace. He walked up the stairs, then he remember.
Shit! I need to text Lance
