Beep...

Beep...

Oh Fuck... that pain...

I slowly started to opened my eyes.

I groaned in pain and turned to look to the left.

There was sitting this guy...

What was his name again...?

"Hey buddy~ how do you feel?"

My god that voice! Like a heavenly choir...

"Feeling... me?"

And then this laugh....!

"Yeah. How do you feel?"
I checked my surroundings. I was laying in a white bed next to me there were so many things... like... that thing that was beeping all the time.
I've seen it many time on the tv.

"Where am i...? Who are you? What is this thing?" I asked and pointed at the beep-beep thing (cute XD)

I felt a soft hand on my cheek. Stroking it slowly.

"You're at the hospital Lance. I'm Shiro. And this beep-beep thing is called electrocardiogram. It shows your heartbeat."

I nodded even though my brain still hasn't processed the fact that I was laying in a hospital.

"Why am i here?" I asked my voice clearly cracking.

Shiro's expression dropped. He looked at the bedsheets and stood silent for a bare moment.

"You don't remember? Those bullies beat you... until I came and rescued you. I am the one that brought you here and stayed with you all day and night long..."

What?! Is this even real??
This guy.... he stayed with me all the time??

Tears streamed down my cheeks. "I don't know what to say..." I sobbed and he hugged me. As if he could read my mind.
"It's okay. I'm always there to help. And from now on I'll be protecting you." He stared into my eyes.
I gulped hard.

"I promise..."
