HERMIONE'S POV.
After telling Harry what had happened in McGonagall’s office I looked out the window to see Hogwarts in the distance deciding now is the best chance I have on leaving I picked up my beaded bag that I used when we were on the run and left the cabin saying that I was getting changed as we were nearing Hogwarts, on my way out I could feel Ginny’s glare on my back.
Walking towards the Bathrooms I hear all the excitement comming from new commers. Once I’m at the Bathrooms quickly get changed into my new school robes. Walking out I head to the Slytherin compartment to get Malfoy so we can do rounds before the train stops as I’m going through the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff compartments all I get are looks of pity not really understanding why but the only things that comes to my head about it is that I have to be head girl along with Malfoy, and about my parents. I just ignore them as I go through the Slytherin part of the train get people sniggering at me. Almost at the very end of the train I hear him and Zabini talking.
“How are you going to do it” I hear Zabini ask
“I don’t know but I have until my birthday to do it” Malfoy replies
“At least you have longer than me, you have until June, where-as I have until March”
“True”
At hearing this I decided now would be the best time to go in, knocking on the door to let them know I’m here I slowly open the door to see both boys staring very intently at me. Looking at my feet I awkwardly shift on my feet and look up at them still staring.
Clearing my throat I look at Zabini then Malfoy “Um Malfoy we need to do our…” fade out my sentence after I see the colour of Malfoy’s eyes. Staring deeply in his eyes I start to find myself caught in the colour.
I’m snapped out of my daze by a dark coloured hand being waved in front of my face, “Uh. What?”. Staring over at Malfoy I see him smirking at me “Enjoying the view Granger?”
“Wha… No… It’s just that… uh your eyes…”
“Are just absolutely irresistible?” he interrupted
“WHAT…NO… They’re um… They’re black” I mumbled
“Um sorry… What?”
They’re black. Your eyes are black”
Not saying anything he pushed past me and went towards the bathrooms with a shocked look on his face.
Turning to look at Zabini who had a expression of both shock and confusion on his face
“Uh. What was that about exactly?”
“Well, that is something you’re gonna have to get used to and find out yourself” he said following Malfoy. Leaving me with the biggest question in my head
‘What the fuck was that about?’
