Lawyer pt. 2

Sophie's POV

Once we got back to the hotel, of course there were girls swarming around. This was the last day of Magcon LA. There were security guards trying to keep everything in order but they weren't doing a very good job. We got dropped off at a side door where there were only a few girls trying to get in but a lot less then the front. We used our room key to get into the door and I walked straight back to the stage door. I took out my pass/card thing (so they knew I was allowed to be there) and showed it to the security guard. I was speed walking right into the room, I completely forgot Kendall was with me until she caught up to me, "why are you walking so fast?!!" She was running out of breath.

I saw Jack and Jack and Nash and Cameron sitting at a table eating. They were on "break". I walked right over to there table and stood across from them.

Jack J. Looked up at me, "Hey Sophie!"

"How was the meeting?" Jack G. added.

"It was fine. I-" my phone buzzed, I looked down at it and I had a new email from the lawyer. I opened it and it had the court date and everything. I was a little confused because the time was only 2:00-2:30. I looked back up at the guys to finish my sentence. "Um, I'll tell you everything later. Ken and I need to start getting ready for tonight's show". I twirled around, grabbed Kendall's arm and walked out of the room and up towards our room. On our way up in the elevator Kendall asked, "Are you going to at least tell your best friend what's going on or do I have to wait also?" I kind of just ignored her question and didn't answer. I was trying to get all my thoughts together before I said anything.

Once we got to out room we grabbed our bags, then we had to head back downstairs. We walked into the dressing room and we all got ready. I sat down and started doing my make up. "Sooo.?!!" Kendall said taking a seat next to me also working on her make up.

"There's really nothing to tell. We went through the whole contract talked about strategies and there's a 50/50 chance I'll win."

"Oh ok.." Ken could tell I wasn't in the mood to talk about it. But she kept asking questions anyway. "When's the court date"

"Tomorrow. But I'm a little confused because it's only 2:00-2:30.."

She had a look on her face like she knew why. Before I could ask her the door swung open and Paul walked in. "Ok let's all start changing now. 45 minutes until show time."

He started walking toward me stared at me for a second before speaking. "And Sophie, it's funny how you think you're getting out of this contract." I cringed just at the sound of his voice. He must have got the call about the court date. Kendall said to ignore everything he said. I changed into my costume and went to wait backstage. I sat on the floor and stretching.

"Sophie!?" I heard someone call my name.

I whipped my head around. "Yes?"

The stage manager handed me a small card. "Someone guy asked me to give this to you." I took the card from his hand and opened it. It read : Good luck! We will all be watching (;

Signed by all of the guys at the end. A big smile appeared across my face. Paul walked passed me and onto the stage. As he passed he spoke, "I don't know why you're smiling, the next 3 years of your life will be hell with me." I rolled my eyes and didn't let him get to me. I took my place as well as everyone else and waited for our Que. We strutted out on stage and put all we had in our dances. It was our last day performing in LA. At least for this trip it was.

When the show ended I was very proud of myself for keeping Paul off my mind and completely ignoring him. Before Paul could even talk to me again I packed up all my stuff and brought if up to the room. I didn't even say anything to Kendall or even thank the guys for their support. I was just so exhausted I just wanted the day to be over, but then again I was sort of dreading tomorrow.
