You told me you were fine.

You told me how happy you were.

You told me lies.

Lies that affect both you and me.

Your lie affected your mental health by not talking about it. Your lie affected my happiness.

I thought you were happy, but turns out, you're just a good actor. An actor who puts on a flawless, fake smile. An actor who acts like they're happy so no one would be concerned.

I found this out and your beautiful smile then turned into something different to me. It turned into something that mades me so sad when I know it was fake.

Your real smile is beautiful. Why can't you use it as much as you use your fake one?

I found out you were lying one night when I went to your house because I remembered I forgot my book there.

I caught you in a lie.

I saw you crying for the first time. It hurt me seeing you in such a bad state of mind. When I saw you, I pulled you into my open arms and embraced you until you stopped crying. I didn't know why you were crying, but I knew I didn't want you to ever cry again.

I wanted you happy.

We then let go of the embrace and I noticed you were wearing a sweater in summer. I held your hand to distract you and I quickly pulled up your sleeve, revealing an arm filled with cuts. I right away start to tear up and I bit my lip to keep tears from falling, but it didn't work.

I cried in front of you. That day was the first time you saw me cry and it was because of you. I thought it was the last time I would cry because of you. Turns out, it wasn't.

I tried to talk, but I couldn't. Eventually, I said,"Why? Why didn't you tell me?"

Chanyeol put his head down and said,"I know you'd get hurt."

"I'd be less hurt now if you told me earlier," I said as a tear falls from my cheek. I wipe it and sigh. I cupped his cheek with my hand and say,"Tell me what happened."

He then tells me what happened, but not the full thing as I comforted him. I found out he didn't tell me the whole story long after that day. I hugged him as I was praying Chanyeol would be happy. Happy with life. Happy with his family. Happy with me.

We aren't together, but you always seemed jealous when I hung out with guys other than you. Which leads us to lie number two.
