Talking to Zeus.

"Alexis, wake up." I wake up to Apollo shaking my shoulder gently and talking to me.

"Im up." I say thrashing my arms around. I hear Apollo groan a little bit and i realise that i accidentally punched him in the gut.

"Shit, sorry Apollo!" I apologise, and get up out of bed.

"Its ok, good shot." Apollo says.

"So why did you wake me up? Does Hecate need me again?" I ask.

"No not Hecate, today you are going to meet Zeus." Apollo explains.

"Should i be worried?" I ask, already starting to panic.

"No not really. I think Zeus just wants to talk to you about your duties as a goddess." Apollo explains.

"Ok, but can you show me where to go? I only really know this part of Olympus." I say. Apollo nods and grabs my hand, leading me out of my room and through a maze of corridors and doors.

"We're here." Apollo says, and lets go of my hand.

"Thanks. So Zeus is through here?" I ask. Apollo nods and i walk into the room.

"So you are Alexis. Welcome, i am Zeus." Zeus says the minute i walk into the room.

"Yes i am Alexis, may i ask, why have you summoned me?" I ask, hoping i wasn't being rude.

"I have summoned you here to tell you that you are the goddess of shadows Alexis, and also to tell you that Nyx, the goddess of night, has decided that she wants to kill you." Zeus explains, his voice softening with the last couple of words.

"Why does Nyx want to kill me? What have i done?" I ask.

"Its not what you've done, its what you're destined to do. You see Alexis, about 10 years before you were born, there was a prophecy, a prophecy involving you, Nyx and Apollo. You see, the prophecy states that the Sun and Shadow will work together to destroy the Night once and for all, Apollo is obviously the Sun, and it seems that you are the Shadow. Nyx must be defeated though, she has been building an army of evil, that black sludge that killed your friend was a being of evil, from the Mansion of Night. Even Olympus isnt safe from Nyx, so you and Apollo must defeat her, or all will be lost." Zeus explains, with a grave tone.

"But how am i meant to defeat Nyx? Ive never fought anyone in my life!" I say.

"Well, thats why im here."

Ok so i have just been informed by my tutor that Hecate doesn't live on Olympus, and that most of the gods and goddesses wouldn't, but i do not care it is my story and i am going to do whatever the hell i want to do with it.(and yes i realised i stole the iris messaging from Uncle Rick, i didnt intend on doing that, i couldnt think of anything else.)

And oooooo cliffhanger! Who's the mysterious person who is going to teach Alexis how to fight?

Ill give you a hint, its one of the Olympians.
