The main story is set in the sixth year of Remus Lupin with flashbacks from the past and flashforwards from the future.
The story starts with Remus losing the love of his life. And he flashes back to a previous time...
The green beam came towards him just in time for someone to throw a chair in front of him giving him enough time to duck the spell.
In front of the auditorium, the chair exploded pieces everywhere.
All the school officials got on stage, disarming Snape and announcing that the event was over and everybody would be led by their prefects to their respective common room's.
'Are you okay?' Lily asked rushing over to James.

'Than-ks.' James managed to say. 'Just some shards of the chair. I will be fine.'
His chest was covered in blood.
Lily quickly reported to Slughorn who said that he would be taken to the hospital ward immediately.
'I will go with you.' She said.
'No. You must lead the others back. You are a prefect, remember?'
'I will take care of that.' said Remus coming ahead. 'You go ahead lily. Take good care of him.'
Lily nodded.

*** Meanwhile Sirius ended up at a bar in hogsmeade which was less crowded even than the hogs head.
It was where he had last seen him.
And he was there at the exact spot.
He was facing opposite to him, so that he could see the reflection of Sirius watching him.
'I knew you would come' The man said getting up and facing towards him.
'Son' He added.
