It was a tiring day yesterday, taking orders in that large restaurant required a lot of effort , me and Emma along with Dylan were in charge of the first floor whilst Rosalin ,Mark ,and Tyler were in charge of the second floor , Lukas was in charge of taking the orders outdoors .

They were all nice with different personalities , Dylan was the quiet reserved guy but also the smart one ,Rosaline was crazy in a good sense , she was just really very enthusiastic about everything, mark and Tyler were brothers , Tyler is older than mark by a year and he's the eldest of us but when he argues with mark about silly stuff, I highly doubt his age , they're both handsome brothers with a strong bond though . Lukas, you can say is the playful type who'd wink ,smirk ,and flirt with the ladies , I think most ladies come here and eat outdoors just to see him judging by their flirting and batting eyelashes !

There's also almost 13 people who cook and I've stunned everyone when mad max ,the 50 year old chef actually and genuinely smiled at me ! He's not half as bad as people say he's just the type who'd want everything to be perfect ! The other stuff members were welcoming and friendly too.

I received an email from the library manager that I'm accepted to work starting from next week , the pay is 350 dollars a month for part time and I shall receive the morning shift which starts from 7 in the morning till 12 in the mid noon.

For today I decided to just rest until my nightshift time gets close .

I texted Cale ,my brother, to check up on him.

After a while I started watching episodes from Grey's Anatomy even though I end up crying when characters die but I simply live for it!

I checked up the time displayed on my phone screen ,I had 33 minutes to get prepare for my nightshift.

I then started to dress ,wearing a tight blue shirt and a black knee-length pencil skirt ,then I ran my hand through my hair and applied light makeup.

By the time I was done I caught a cap and this time made sure I had enough money in my purse ,I wouldn't want someone else to pay for me this time.

I headed towards the new customers occupying table 13 clutching my notepad and pen .

"Welcome to Joli Noir , I'm going to be your waitress for the night , how may I help you ?" I said my rehearsed words and then looked up from the notepad to which I was scrippling a side note in.

The first thing I noticed upon looking up was hazel eyed guy! Opposite to him seated a beautiful girl with dark blue eyes, long blonde hair ,evident jawline ,and she wore a short tight red dress .

I looked at both of them expectantly, the girl gave me a calculating look whilst the guy was stunned after few seconds of looking at me.

"Umm if you are still going to skim through the menu , I can place your orders later after you're done " I told them

"Uh no we already have placed our orders miss Jade " he said looking at my name tag before going back to dictating me their orders .

I then headed towards the kitchen and recorded everything on the computer before proceeding to another tables to do the same.

It went on like this for the whole night and I've noticed the glances that the hazel eyed guy kept on throwing at me however chose to ignore them.

After a while they left along with other customers , but I see they left me some tips , it was a 50 dollar tips !

I was confused as to why would they leave me this much but gladly took it and happily skipped through to Emma showing the 50 dollar tips.

"Wow!! Oh my god girl you are one lucky bitch!" She stared at me in awe
