We were sitting in the studio waiting for John to show up.
"Matty, you sure he said he was coming?" George asked sounding bored already.
"Yeah, he said he'd be here, he's picking Annabelle up from the station then coming straight over" I replied.
"Why didn't you tell us Belle was coming down, how long is she staying for?" Adam asked, suddenly interested in our conversation.
"I didn't ask." I replied, suddenly nervous.
That's the thing with Annie, she's Adam's little sister by only two years, but she's so close to the band. We grew up with her, she'd make us cookies for band practice but only if she got to listen to us play which Adam of course hated but got used to because we all loved having her around. She could make anyone smile when nobody else could by doing the simplest of things.
Jesus, I miss her. She's just a beautiful person, inside and out. The way she smiles with her tongue just behind her teeth and the way she thinks she's so tough but deep down is the gentlest girl I know, or how she's so scared to let her big brother down, although I don't quite know how sleeping with his best friend is classified as "disappointing", but if she wants it to be a secret, it'll be a secret.
God that was the best night of my life, tuns out it clearly wasn't hers, a month later she tells us she's been dating John, the sax player in some of our songs. We've been mates since high school but lately I can't stand him. I like to tell myself that it isn't anything to do with Annie and that it's just because he's changed but deep down I know I'm just being pathetic.
It hard to deny my feelings for her, hell it's hard to even hide them. I've only told George but it would be pretty stupid to think the other lads don't know as well. I've changed so much in the past year to prove her wrong, she said she couldn't be with me because of Adam and that I wasn't good for her. I'll admit, this time last year I wasn't, but I've changed, I've tried so hard to change for her. I haven't been sleeping around and I've stopped doing coke to get better but apparently things have become more serious with her and John and I guess I just have to deal with it.

I called over to Ross to buzz them in and as soon as he did I heard her footsteps up the stairs only to be immediately crushed by my bestfriends beautiful sister.
Wow she's changed.
