Wednesday the 2nd August, 20:30:

A baby's cry echoed the room of the hospital. The room was plain white, a single sized bed sat in the middle, upon the bed was the baby's mother; Angelina Porter. She was a fair woman with dark brown hair, a few freckles sat beneath her eyes, she wore a white dotted hospital gown and in her arms was the baby, she gave birth too.

Alisha Porter, that's what her mother named the baby, Alisha was also fair and had black hair and long eyelashes, Angelina held Alisha for just under thirty seconds before she was removed from the room and never seen again.

Just as Alisha had been removed from Angelina's arms, it dawned upon the mother that her only daughter was an outcast, that she may never see again.

More cries echoed the room, however this time they belonged to Angelina, who longed to hold her beautiful daughter in her arms.

'Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear ALISHA, happy birthday too you!'

Alisha Porter, blew out the candles of her sixteenth birthday cake. She was surrounded by fellow outcasts, Alayna Carter, whom she treated as her older sister, Alayna was a dark brown haired girl, with a fair complexión and a tinge of redness, sat on her cheeks, she was wearing a black sequinned maxi, paired with black open toe heels. She was the fashion designer of the group, with a light sense of humour. Hunter Fox-ton, who was the fighter of the group, the one who trained the others of the group every day. He was a former fighter for FUTURE! Future was the group in control of everything, the ones that placed you where you belonged according to your mark, more on them later, but the three of them also resided with Gabriel, Gabriel Rodriguez , the funny and super sweet gentlemen of the group. Always ready to protect the group or help out in any situation, even if that meant risking his life.

Sixteen years, it had been since she was sent to the abandoned woods, just outside of London. She lived a peaceful life, with her new family. The four of them, supported each other through thick and thin, they made they're simple lives exciting.

However, they were trying to work out why they were outcasts and what connection did their marks hold, also why were they different from the others? What their marks were trying to say? Why were they the unreadables?

'Hip hip, hooray!' Screamed Gabriel,
'Thank you so much guys, really you didn't have to do anything, it's not like this will be a new year with something different,"
"Alisha, please be a little positive on your birthday, negativity is bad for your skin." Alayna argued.

Everyone burst out laughing, they continued to talk about the others' previous sixteenth birthdays. Hunter was 3 months older than Alisha, however Alayna was 17 and was born on New Year's Eve and Gabriel was 18 and was born on the 8th of August 1998.

The day came to a close as darkness flooded the sky.
"Let's call it a night,"
But before Shawn could continue giving them a lecture on sleeping, Hunter interrupted, " yeh yeh, Rodriguez , we know sleeping is good for health and growth and maybe if we grow so will our marks, giving us clues on how to survive and fight against the rest."

Once again, the room was erupted in laughter and all four of them, took to their bedrooms, in the small apartment they were given.

Gabriel and Hunter took a left to get to their rooms whilst the girls took a right to get to their rooms. They slept on opposite sides of the apartment to give each other space, to give the girls space too gossip and the boys to do whatever boys do, to make the four of them feel like they had a little bit of normality in their lives.

A/N new updates very week, I hope, I have a feeling this might be a good book!
