New Love
Dixie was walking through town when she saw Beau at the Church doors walking inside with tears on his cheeks so she followed him in to see what was wrong. When she got inside she was astonished at her sight because what she saw was Beau kneeling at the cross asking a prayer of guidance and forgiveness from the great father above. Dixie quietly moved closer to him and kneeled beside him both in tears she quietly asked what was wrong and Beau replied, “Dixie, I fell in love with you at first sight and I knew that I couldn’t go on living without you. I had some help with my feelings the day after we met and I also received a letter from the army saying that I had to come fight in two weeks. That is the reason I asked for your courtship so early is that I thought I wouldn’t have enough time to express my love for you.” Dixie felt hot tears run down her face and felt a sudden urge to kiss Beau so she did and she felt more sincere to their relationship than she ever had been.
