Chapter 2 ~Reworked

It was a beautiful day, the sun was going down and I leaned against the railing of mother base, looking into the wide ocean. Then all of a sudden I heard Boss. "[Y/n]..." I turned around, just to see him smile. Suddenly he pulled me into a nice hug and I laid my head on his chest, to hear his steady heartbeat. Snake lifted my face and kissed me...

"[Y/N]?" At the sweet sound of bosses voice, I finally could open my eyes, just to see a really sad looking Boss, with guilt and regret written all over him.
"Hey, did something happen? Or are you mad, because you couldn't help me that day? Listen... It wasn't your fault, alright?" He sighed and closed his eyes for a moment. "Well anyway, how was your mission?" I asked him to change the subject. "Just some bruises nothing too serious." He simply said. Suddenly someone of the medic team rushed in and interrupted our little talk. "[Y/n] it's time for your examination, Boss ... I think it would be better if you leave."
Snake quietly nodded and quickly left the room. While the medic turned around I took of my clothes and thought about the last time I saw Snake this sad... Was it... No... It was the first time that I saw him like this.
After the examination the medic told me, that I would need to stay for a week.
The week was over fast, which made me really happy but then Kaz and Ocelot told me that Snake didn't want to have me on his missions anymore.
That really annoyed me, but he decides what to do...
All of a sudden my codec started to ring... It was Huey once again.
"What's wrong Huey?" I asked.
"C-could you help me? I-I mean you don't have to... If you don't have time..." He sounded really stressed, so I decided to help him out. Ocelot and Kaz wouldn't care too much about it.
Right as I stood in front of his lab, I asked him if he could open the door.
Huey quickly opened the door and grabbed my arm to pull me into his lab, then he warmly smiled at me.
"Thank you so much for your help."
He said, while he still held my arm, which made me feel really uneasy.
"Yeah... No problem..." I quietly said with a nervous chuckle. As he let my arm go, I asked what I should do for him and he casually told me to work on some blueprints. After some time Ocelot came into the lab and wanted to take Huey with him. "[Y/n], please put the finished blueprints on my table!" I nodded and watch them go out of the small lab.
After I finished those blueprints, I placed them on the table, just like I promised and slowly went out of the lab, but as I wanted to leave... I bumped into someone. As I sat on the floor, I saw that I bumped into Huey.
"Oh god! I'm so sorry Huey!" He smiled at me and helped me up. "Don't w-worry... You d-didn't hurt me..." Huey quietly stuttered with a huge blush on his face. "Well... Anyway I finished those blueprints for you... See you later I guess."
Right as I wanted to leave, Huey hugged me from behind. "P-please stay..." He begged. "I'm n-not biting, I promise!" What's wrong with him? He never was like this before! "Sorry Huey... But I really need to go." I freed myself from his embrace and quickly left his lab. It was already pretty dark... So I went into my room and called it a day.
