Chapter 3 ~ Reworked

I stood on a bridge of mother base, while it rained but I never minded the rain, because I always thought that the rain showed my emotion no matter if they are good or bad.
It was pretty cold...
Suddenly Ocelot came and tried to give me some advise for my feelings for Snake...
"[Y/n]... Just tell Big Boss how you feel when he's around you, it will be the best for both of you." Ocelot was right but what should I do, when Big Boss wants to do missions on his own?

A sweet voice, which nearly sounded like an Angel, woke me up. As I opened my eyes, I saw a worried Ocelot standing close to my bed.
"[Y/n], you slept in today, is everything alright?" He quietly asked.
I knew, that I could tell him everything that bothered me... That's why he's like a big brother for me... The place where I run to, where I have shelter in my worst moments.
"Ocelot... Please don't tell someone about this..."
Ocelot nodded and sat down on my bed. " I... I'm in love with S-snake... But I can't tell him my feelings... The last time I saw him was... At my last examination... It breaks my heart, that I'm not allowed to go on any missions with him anymore... What should I do?" I sadly told him. Ocelot took me into his arms and gently played with my hair to calm me down, but I still started to cry onto his shoulders. "I'll see what I can do."
He carefully lifted my face and carefully kissed my forehead and told me that he waits for Snake to arrive, so that he could talk to him.
As Ocelot left my room, I quickly changed into my suit and patrolled through the base, just like always.
After some time Ocelot came back to me and nervously looked at me. "We need to talk." He said with a harsh voice. I nodded and followed him, to see a really sour Kaz and an exhausted Boss.
"[Y/n] are you insane?! Why would you want to go on a new mission with Boss, after what happened to you." Kaz yelled. I knew he meant it in a good way but my heart told me I need to go with Snake...
"Kaz... I know you mean good but... Boss and I are a really good team! And I even got... Ah never mind..." I calmly told Kaz. "You got what?"
I quickly shook my head and told him that he shouldn't worry about it.
"[Y/n] how much of the accident, do you remember?"

We were in the middle of nowhere in Afghanistan. Our mission was rescue as many people as possible from those villages. Everything went fine, until something happened...
"Boss behind us, are coming three soldiers!" I yelled.
He didn't move a single bit, so I had to shoot them but I had no ammo.
Then a M4 caught my eyes. I quickly rolled to it, grabbed it and aimed on those soldiers.

"I only remember, that I killed those three soldiers..." His face showed anger, sorrow and regret.
"So you don't remember..." He sighed and scratched his head.
"I'll tell you what happened." Boss continued.
Now his face was filled with pure sadness.
"As you killed those three soldiers, I finally realized what you meant... Then I quickly turned around and accidentally... Shot you in the head."
It can't be true that he shot me in the head... This must be a crazy lie, so that I don't want to join him on new missions.
I tried to act like I don't care, so he would take on new missions.
"Boss please... Let me join."
I smiled at him with my puppy eyes.
"Boss don't even..." Growled Kaz.
"You can join, BUT if it gets too dangerous, you'll leave asap!" After he told me that, he genuine smiled at me.
Now I have to find out the truth about the accident...
