I made 3 tea cups, 2 for me, and one for Kuro. I got 4 chocolate chip cookie boxes, 2 boxes for each. Kuro and I sat in the balcony, eating cookies and sipping tea.

I lost my eyes in between the glimmering stars that lit up the dark night sky, dancing and showing off their light in the sky, making the planets jealous.

"I see that you really like stars." Kuro broke the silence that enveloped us.

"Yeah. They're so shiny and really beautiful. I get lost when looking at them," I sip my tea. "I never asked you what do you like, but, from what I saw, you like sweets, right?"

"Yup. Especially chocolate flavored ones." Kuro munches on a cookie.

There was an awkward silence that enveloped us again. None of us dared to say a word. I finished the first the tea cup and started with the second. Kuro finished his tea too and started eating his cookies.

"How is your life in your demonic kingdom?" I built up all my courage to break the silence.

"It's not really fun on normal days. My alarm clock wakes me up at 7:00 A.M. I take a bath, brush my teeth, wash my face, and go to the dining room. I eat my breakfast, it differs everyday since the servants know I like changing food types. After I eat, I go to my office and check some papers stacked on my desk. Then I open my laptop and check the updates on the news. I retype anything important on the laptop if I find on the news. After I'm done with work in my office, it would usually be about 4:00 P.M, I attend several meetings- we eat lunch in a 15 minute break. It would be 7:30 when I'm done. I would finally have my break to hang out with my younger sister, Shiro, and my friend, Arashi. I go to sleep at 10:00 P.M."

"Your day is really tiring."

"Yeah, I know. That's why I r-."

"You what?"

"Nah, it's nothing. Never mind."

"Well... what about other days?"

"What do you mean?"

"You said what you did on normal days. What about abnormal ones?"

"Oh~ We fight monsters. They sometimes injure citizens in the city. The problem is that they evolve."

"Evolve?"

"Yes. They started with Demonic Mice. Demonic Mice were common but weak. We are still searching how they evolved into large Demonic Dragons, Demonic Shifters, and more."

"What are Demonic Shifters?"

"They are the worst up until now. Shifters change shape and color as well as voice. They can be hiding in between citizens so we hired employees who check the citizens daily. Shifters are strong too. They have high agility and stamina, high intelligence and strength. We have had a hard time fighting them and locking them in cages to perform tests and researches on them."

"Oh. I wish you good luck."

"Thanks."

I finished my tea and started eating my cookies. Thinking about my childhood, I let out several laughs at the times I remembered funny moments.

"Ms. Lizzie?"

"Yes?"

"Would you mind if you tell me about your childhood?"

"Hmm? Nope, I like talking about it."

"Thanks."

"Well, I was born on 2001, February 12th, on a Monday night. I used to cry all the time for Mom to pick me up. I grew up to become a kid, a really energetic one. I liked to watch my favorite kids' show called Princess Amber. Several years later, my mother was pregnant, but the fetus died. My parents were really sad, but after I showed up, they smiled and hugged me. 12 years from my birth, Peter was born. I kept affording help but my mom said that she's okay. One day, I wanted to give Peter a bath without my mom knowing. When I entered the bathroom carrying Peter, I slipped, making both Peter and I on the floor. Peter was crying so I tried to calm him down. However, Mom woke up and scolded me, but she still laughed later. I really miss those days." I sighed with a smile.
