My Demon

2 - Calling Problems

  Kuro keeps waking me to give him something to eat every 3 hours. The first time was at 11:00 P.M. He woke me up and stayed in his cute self to encourage me to wake up. I put him in between my hands and tip toed down the stairs as quiet as possible.

"What do you want?" I said in a quiet but deadly voice.

"I don't know. Can you open the fridge for me? I'm so small." Kuro innocently said.

  I opened the fridge and moved my hand closer so he can see well.

"Yes?"

"I want that cake."

"No. It's mine."

"Just a tiny piece. I'm so small."

"Fine, but only one."

  He gave me a cute smile. I gave up and took 2 tiny pieces from the chocolate cake instead of one.

  I went back up tip toeing again and place Kuro on the table since he'd ruin the bag if he ate inside. After he was done, he smiled again, but his face was full of cake residues. I took a tissue and cleaned his face. He suddenly fell asleep and he looked super cute that I let out an "awww". I felt sorry for leaving him in the bag so I took out a pillow and put him in the case. I put the pillow on the side facing the wall on the bed.

  At 2:00 A.M, he woke me up again. He jumped on my cheek this time and told me he had to eat again. I took him downstairs but this time, he wanted something from the cupboard.

"What do you want this time?"

"What is this?" Kuro points at a cookie box.

"Cookie box. Do you want it?"

"I want the chocolate chip cookie box."

  I hand him one cookie .

"Thanks for what you've done. I'm more comfortable in the pillow than in the bag."

"Uhh...o-oh. You're welcome." I gave him a wide smile.

  I took him upstairs so he can eat his cookie that was slightly larger than him. I slept while he was eating because I knew it would take so much time to finish what he was eating and that he could fly to grab a tissue and wipe his face.

  Later at 5:00, he woke me up again. This time, he wanted something to drink. I had one our left till my alarm clock rings so I just told Kuro about where the water is. He insisted on me coming with him and gave me his puppy eyes again. I went down, poured him some water, went up, and held the cup for him. He took a few a sips and I drank the rest.

  I was finally asleep in the last hour I had- that was until my alarm clock rang. I had to wake up to hide Kuro before Mom enters my room. Kuro woke up when I moved from the bed and picked him up. I hurried to the bathroom and hid him in the washing machine.

"Don't peek. I will take a bath and after I'm done, you can take your bath. I have an extra toothbrush if you want."

"I'm not a pervert you know."

"Just making sure."

  I put him in the washing machine and started taking my bath. Once I was done, I put on my clothes and moved Kuro to the bath tub. He opened the shower, took his bath, put on his clothes, and flew to the sink. By that time, I already brushed my teeth, washed my face, and tied my hair. I got out Kuro's toothbrush and handed it to him.

"Thanks. I'm done with getting served so I'm growing back to brush my teeth."

  Kuro grew back to his bigger version. My face turned red.
