It's finally Friday, it's the weekend I've been waiting for. I can finally feel free. I came back from school on my feet as usual but this time, I was jogging. I was worried about Kuro, he didn't give a smile, he didn't eat, he just sat in the corner of the bag, bed, or room.

"Kuro, what's wrong?"

"..."

"Kuro, you can trust me in anything."

Kuro dug his face in between his legs and started crying. I thought that it would be better if I gave him some time alone, so I put him in the balcony and put a cookie on the table. He didn't budge. I was really worried and my Friday was ruined.

Time passed, and Kuro stayed where he was. I was reading a book I have borrowed from the school library, checking on Kuro once in a while. I tried talking with him several times but he never responded. I sat in the balcony with my book in my hand, looking at the sun that was almost setting. Suddenly, a person appeared behind the chair Kuro was sitting on. He looked like a demon.

"Kuro! What are you doing here in your shrunken size!? It's almost time for your parents' death memorial. We have been searching for you everywhere since the day you ran away from Demonica."

"U-uh..." I open my mouth in shock.

"O-oh, s-sorry for the intrusion. I'm Kishimoto, one of the castle's servants."

"Kuro, is that why you were sad all day long?"

Kuro raised his head, tears trickled down his cheeks, and nodded slowly.

"I'm so sorry if I bothered you."

"We have to go, the sun will set."

Kishimoto drew a circle in the air and opened a portal. He entered the portal, then, Kuro grew back to his original shape and grabbed my hand, making me enter the portal with them. I had no time to say anything since Kuro's grasp around my hand was very tight and his speed was incredible. We passed the portal and entered the demonic kingdom, Demonica.

We arrived at what looks like a castle. It was polished clean and rather cool than hot.

"You have to change, Ms. Lizzie."

"But I don't have anything to wear."

"Kishimoto already got everything ready. You can change in that room."

Kuro points at two dark brown doors. I headed over to where he pointed and opened the doors. Inside was a large room with plenty of clothes, all were feminine clothes. I searched for a black dress, a hat, a pair of socks and shoes, and a pair of gloves. I found them easily then put them on.

After I was done, I went outside of the room and found Kuro sitting beside a white haired girl with pitch black eyes. She looked younger than me and Kuro. They both stood up and signaled me to follow them. We walked along corridors and opened doors, until we were finally outside.

The streets were crowded with demons wearing black clothes and holding rare black tulips except for Kuro, the white haired girl, and I. The demons kept gazing at me, probably because I don't look like them. I tried ignoring them anyways. We stood infront of all the demons and started walking towards a sea with a large mountain in the middle.

When we reached the seashore, the demons flew one by one but swiftly, placing the tulips on the water. The tulips floated on the water and then, it was turn for us. I didn't know what to do or say so I stood still. Kuro and the girl bit their ring finger and soon, the blood poured. With the other hand, they moved the index finger in the air, the blood started flying and turned black. They pointed at the tulips floating on the sea and the black blood spilled on the tulips. The tulips flew and reached the top of the mountain where it settled there for a few seconds before it turned into ashes and disappeared in the sky.
Kuro flew above and started talking.
