6 months later

My stomach was big like huge, my stomach was so big it was crazy. A month after I told everybody I was pregnant Paris got pregnant. I was too happy we were both pregnant, but I had hella mood swings. Paris was just chill all the time except for when she was hungry. We been staying in Chris's step brother house for 3 months then moved into a bigger apartment. The room for our baby was all set and it looked great.

Rachel started calling me Auntie and it was wonderful, she treats me like a big sister and I won't let anything happen to her.
Chris was getting more and more excited each day about our baby but he was kinda worried because we haven't heard from Montey in a while, saying he planning something big what ever he doing he need to keep me and my baby out of it.

I woke up rubbing my stomach, today was the day of my baby shower. Chris and I got up excited.
"We gonna share the baby's gender you excited?" I asked while he put his hand on my stomach.
"Yeah, you ready to have this baby girl." He said patting my thigh.
"Yup too excited." I said smiling.
"And happy birthday baby." Chris said giving me a kiss. I thought it would be perfect and just the right time to have the baby shower on my birthday.
"Thanks boo." I said getting up. We both got ready and dressed and headed over to the place.

Paris and her family was already there, I didn't invite nobody but Chris almost invited the whole town. I walked up to Paris and gave her a big hug, she hugged me back. I never seen her so happy, "Happy birthday Kia!" She said, I fixed her hair.
"Thanks! lets get this party started." We both walked hand in hand up to the stand as the music started jumping and everybody started drinking and dancing. When sunset hit me and Paris had 2 cupcakes inside was the color of the genders the music quiet down. "Can the fathers come up here please." Teo and Chris ran up to us all happy we gave them the cupcakes Teo bit into the cupcake.
"We having a girl!" Teo jumped up all happy then kissed Paris.

Just as I was about to give Chris his cupcake he stopped me.
"I got you a present." I raised my eyebrow then a lady walked up to the stage not just any lady, my grandma. I ran to her and hugged her almost tackling her to the floor.
"GRANNY!" She stroked my hair as we hugged then she let me go.
"Now go let your boy eat that cupcake, I want to know if I'm going to have a grandson or granddaughter." I laughed and gave Chris the cupcake.

It's a.... BOY!" He said with a big smile.
We hugged and kissed and everybody cheered.
"I love you so much!" I said hugging him again.
My grandma gave both me and Chris a hug and started crying.

Nothing could ruin this moment, until we heard loud music. We all walked to the front which was a stupid ass idea but we did. A car passed by slowly,
"ITS A DRIVE BY" Somebody yelled out the car came faster as 4 boys poked they head out with some guns they started shooting. Kharis and another girl grabbed my arm and pulled me to the back as everybody from Chris gang took out the gun and started shooting, Paris wanted to shoot but Teo yelled at her telling her to get her ass in the house, so thats what she did, we all did. We looked out the window which wasn't a good plan either because I saw Chris and Teo go down, once they did the car rode past.

Lamar and Jayden got in the street and shot at the car, Kharis called 911 while Paris ran outside straight to Chris and Teo. I covered Rachel's eyes and told her to stay in the bathroom and play on my phone. I cried and held my stomach feeling the baby kick a little bit. Max, Jayden, and Lamar carried Teo and Chris inside. They took they shirts off and wrapped where they got shot at really tight. "Keep looking at me bro." Max said pushing down on Chris. Chris was shot twice in the arm and leg, Teo was shot in the arm. I held onto Paris and we just cried. "I swear imma kill they ass, and don't nobody tell me shit. I'm done with they ass we killin all dem!" Paris said throwing a rock at the window.

"Paris calm down they got shot in the arm n leg it ain't the end of the world." Jhamal said.
Paris looked at him her eyes turned darker,
"I dont care THEY HURT MY FAMILY THEY DONE! You know better then to tell me to calm down." Jhamal held his hands up.
I just stared at Chris, "Chris you ok?" He held his arm.
"Yea I'm fine I'm not gonna die Kianna." I nodded, Paris was on the floor next to Teo he wiped her tears whispering to her. I looked outside and saw the ambulance park outside I opened the door as they came in.

They quickly got Chris and Teo on a stretcher and rolled them in the van. "Kianna get Rachel please and take her to the hospital with you, imma ride with Chris and Teo." I nodded and went to the bathroom seeing Rachel in tears.
"Whats wrong?" I asked sniffing trying not to let her see me cry.
"Everyone was yelling and I'm scared... What happened?" She asked crying into my arms.
"My friends just got hurt they are going to the doctor right now, they will be okay." I said,
"And I'm sorry for the yelling, everyone else is scared too but it's ok." I said wiping her face off.
I held her hand as we walked to the car, I put her in the back seat and drove off. My grandma grabbed all the gifts we received and went back to her hotel with them.

We all went to the hospital in different cars. I kept Rachel happy even though I wanted to cry myself. I didn't want Chris to be in the hospital nor the gang anymore because if something happens to him or our baby boy I'm going to be pissed, and I know Paris wasn't lying about killing them. Part of me didn't want Montey to get killed though cause it still was a possibility he was my baby dad.
We got to the hospital and ran in, it was sweet how we did it cause everyone got there at the same time and ran in. Rachel laughed at that even though it was a serious moment.

We rushed to go see where Chris was but Max told us he just got out of surgery an hour ago and is talking with the police right now. Max picked up Rachel and sat down kissing her on the cheek. I rubbed my stomach, "girl you should sit down, maybe even go home."
"Yea you don't need all that stress." Kharis and Paris said agreeing.
"I'm not bouta leave Chris what if something happens and Paris you preg too don't act like its only me." I said starting to cry.
"I can handle this, I've been dealing with all this my whole life. This is knew to you, you need a break off the drama." Paris said giving me a side hug.
I just left it at that and started to walk away until I heard commotion and saw nurses running towards Chris's room. I ran back as I saw the officer stepping out the room. I ran to him, "what the hell happened to my boyfriend." I asked, my hands were shaking by this point. "He went into a seizure, it will be alright though." He said walking away. The nurses rolled him out of his room and everyone just stood there shocked watching everything that was happening.

"WHAT YOU MEAN EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT" Max yelled after the officer pissed as hell I started crying more than I have before. Rachel walked up to me and rubbed my stomach feeling the baby kick, Paris ran up to Chris. "I swear imma kill them don't worry, take it easy." They rolled him into another room while Paris stood there,
"Man I should have killed Montey ass years ago." I looked at her, "Y-years ago?"
