"Oh shit what time is it?"
Dan reaches for Phils phone on the bedside table he presses the home button and the screen iluminates showing the picture of him and Phil on their way to their first radio show, their first picture together.
"aww." Dan grins
"oh we don't have time for that!"
Phil grabs it out of his hand and checks the time for himself
it was twenty five after twelve and they were suppossed to leave a half hour ago to pick up Zoe and Louise, after they had already met up with Chris and Pj.
shit shit shit shit
they hear another knock at the door, forgetting they were still standing outside the doorway.
"Dan? Phil? Are you okay in there?"
"uh-h.. yeah Dan's getting ready."
"Can we come in?"
"Oh yeah sure just let me open the door..."
As Dan was running to the restroom he dropped his towel
"go go go" Phil rushed him
Dan picks it up and his face is beat red he then runs into the bathroom and closes the door as Phil opens the hotel door.
"heyy friends" he greets them with a forced smile.
"Hey Phil... so Dan's... getting ready?"
"yeah he'll be out soon" he wondered if they noticed how tense he was, and the sweat forming on his upper lip.
"okay... annnd you're in your pajamas" he points out
he looks down, not realizing he is just in boxers and a t-shirt.
"oh yeah....oops" he covers himself with a pillow.
"we kinda woke up late, we're bad with time" he said trying hard not to blush.
"well its okay the park is open until ten thirty anyway, you still have time to make out some more." PJ says with a chuckle.
Phil laughs uncomfortably.
"Hurry up Dan!" Phil yells from the outside
Dan comes out all dressed and his hair still damp.
"your hair Daniel" Chris laughs ruffling his hobbit hair.
he feels the top of his head and gasps
"nooooooo" he rushes back into the bathroom.
*approximately 5 years later*
Dan exits the bathroom his hair swept to the side, he was wearing his cat shirt the one Phil got him, Phil smiled and stared at him, it felt to him as though they were the only ones in the room. Pj had noticed Phil was starring at his.... "best friend" like it was Sarah Michelle Gellar.
"took only an hour" Chris laughs.
"Sorry, I have to look good ya know?"
"Who you trying to impress hmmm?" Pj instigates, he looks back at Phil who is starring down at his feet.
"Zoe??" Chris raises an eyebrow and winks at Dan.
Phil looks around nervously, meeting Pj's eyes, Pj winks at him and mouths "I know" Phils heart sank and he felt like he was going to have a heart attack.
"pshhh.... yeah totally!" he says sarcastically.
"okay what's with the sarcasm...."
Phil interrupts "ill be quick you guys" he hops off the bed and closes the bathroom door behind him.
"are you guys okay though? you guys seem extremely tense"
"yes"
"swear?"
"I swear."
"nothing you need to tell us? " Pj asks already knowing the truth.
"no.... not really"
"okay...."
the next ten minutes were complete silent besides the whispering between Pj and Chris.

They arrive at Disneyland and Dan is pulling on Phil's arm wanting to go on all the rides. He is like a child, and Phil found it adordable.
"Come on Dan lets go on the Pirates of the Caribbean!" Zoe looks at him in his eyes batting her eyelashes and smiling. She grabs his arm and pulls him to the ride, Phil walking behind with Louise, Chris and Pj.
"I think they would make such a cute couple" Louise chirps.
"yeahhh...." Phils head hangs low, and he pouts the whole walk there.
They enter the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, Zoe was sat next to Dan and Phil is on the other side of Dan. When they were cascaded in darkness, Zoe slips her hand into Dan's. Dan didn't want to be rude and pull away but he also didn't like Zoe like that. He just remained there holding hands until they were I'm the light again. if only she knew.
they then went on the haunted mansion. again Zoe wanted to be next to Dan.
they then went to Thunder Mountain. But by this time Zoe was feeling sick and rushed to the toilet as the rest of them continued on.
Phil was relieved.
finally they end with Space Mountain. After the hour long wait, they enter, Dan was sat next to Phil and held his hand in his.
Yes this .... this felt right.

"I'm getting kinda hungry" Chris says
"yeah same here" Phil agrees patting his tummy, Dan nods his head.
"let"s go eat.... there!" Louise suggests pointing towards a Chinese place
They make their way to the restaurant. Dan is clutching onto Phil's arm as they walk behind Chris, Pj, and Louise. Zoe was still being sick at the toilet.. Louise texted her letting her know where we were going to be.
"so when should we tell them?" Dan voice only a whisper.
"whenever you're ready"
"lets make it later"
"....don't want to possibly ruin our day" he continues. "It doesn't have to be today even..." he said followed by a nervous laugh
Phil plants a small kiss on the top of his head. Their hands intertwine and Phil leans in to plant a kiss on his lips.
A random lady with her child looks at them in disgust mumbles something that Dan could partially understand.
"is there a problem?" Dan asks her still holding Phils hand
She doesn't say anything in return instead she grabs her child and walks off in the other direction
"Disgusting!" she yells back at them
Tears were filling up Phils eyes. He never liked confrontation. He hated when people made a big deal out of things. He hated negative people. Ignorant people. He hated arguments.
Dan squeezed his hand in comfort.
He totally forgot that they were there with Chris, Pj, and Louise.
They all were looking back at them in surprise. Except for Pj who had a smirk on his face.
