Welcomed to the Camp

Wolves of all kind came into the middle of the camp, welcoming Brownclaw. "Congratulations," one wolf said. "Nice answer," another said. "You are very wise," another wolf said. Of course Claire said thanks to all of them. They seemed so joyful and happy to her. Even Queen Elspeth and Jack (the deputy) seemed happy. But when she looked over at Shellfire and Quietice, she saw that there minds were somewhere else. The two wolves turned and entered into a cave in which apparently was for the protectors. After the two wolves entered the cave, Jack and some of the other wolves gave Brownclaw a tour of their camp and territory. They showed her where the food pile was, the warriors cave, the pup den, the apprentices' den, and the medicine wolf's cave.

She was introduced to the medicine wolf who was named Faith, for she always had faith not in the wolves, but that God would deliver this sinful generation, including both humans and animals. She wasn't favored by the wolves, but she was the only one who knew how to heal. Anyway, as they were talking to Faith, Brownclaw looked into Faith's eyes and she saw a vision from Faith's point if view. And this is what she saw: Brownclaw learned that Faith had been an apprentice to the medicine wolf before her, who had died collecting herbs when humans attacked him, shooting his heart. She was there when he was shot and she fainted. She woke up tied upside-down. It was night and she could see her captors out on the porch. She could tell that they were drunk. She knew that she couldn't escape. And then she saw a human like creature walking to her. She struggled and the creature said in wolf language "relax, I mean you no harm." The creature took out a knife and began to cut her loose. She fell down from the ceiling being caught by the human like creature. And that is when she saw his hands. The hands were like human hands, except that they had holes in the middle of them. Not just like a scar, but that you could actually see through them. And at that moment, Claire, who was having this vision through Faith's view, she realized who he was, for he was apart of her world's history. Brownclaw's breathe was taken away as she experienced the scenes of Faith's escape that followed. She (Faith & Brownclaw through the vision) was carried by the man out the back door to the edge of the forest. The human set her down and looked into her eyes and whispered "God bless you," and disappeared into thin air. She turned and ran back into the forest and that is when Brownclaw came back into her senses.

"Are you okay?" Jack asked, looking at Brownclaw who was panting real hard.

"Yes," Brownclaw replied stunned. "I'm alright."

"Good," Jack said still looking concerned. But he continued the tour, this time showing Brownclaw the special places of their territory.

That night, she could not go to sleep. She was troubled with the vision that she had earlier and it felt weird sleeping with a whole pack of animals. Especially fierce wolves. She prayed to God, "Lord please show me the way.". And then she fell asleep.

Interesting chapter. And a new character with a new story. Imagination is awesome! Comment on who you think the human was. He is suppose to be someone. Anyway, sorry that I haven't updated in like along time. I didn't know what I would put for this chapter and I didn't have time until today. And actually it will update tomorrow since I'm at Grandma's house which had no internet :(. Also, I'm going to write another book on the side called "The Day When God Friended A Murder". If you don't believe in the stories of the Bible, it might not be to your liking. But as a friend told me, "Write to please God, not me.". So anyway, some good movies are "Back to the Future 1,2,&3". However, they have a lot of cuss words in them. And a good song is "Ready, Set, Go," by Royal Tailor. Y'all should check it out. Good night and thanks for reading.
