The Past Isn't Always Forgivable

Clary's POV

It's the one year Anniversary of Sebastian's disappearance since the Battle. And since he took me. I don't know if I should be happy or sad. Because out of all the things he has done he is still my brother. Ugh! Why do things have to be so complicated?! I think to myself.

I then decide that I will NEVER forgive him for what he did to me. His own sister for cry'n out loud! I can't even stand to think about what he did. It was unforgivable. He is no longer my brother, he's a Monster.

Jace's POV

Today is the Anniversary of when we defeated Sebastian, and when I got Clary back. I know that today is going to be hard on Clary the most because of what happened to her. She won't even tell me what happened. She only told her mum. I wonder what happened to her, I thought to myself. Well any who I've planned a day with just me a Clary so I could get her mind off things. So technically you could say I am taking her out on a date.

I want this date to be perfect for Clary and I. So I made reservations for us both at "Runes." My friend Xavier runs the restaurant, and made sure it would just be me and Clary. Runes is a Shadowhunter only restaurant. Which is by far the best. Clary and I also had our first date at the park across the street. Which is where I'm planning on taking her to after we are done dinner.

I hope it goes well!

I quickly phone Xavier to make sure that everything is okay, before I head up to Clary's room. 

"Hey, Xavier! How's everything going so far?"

"Oh hey Jace! Don't worry everything is fine! I even made sure to put some lights up around the restaurant for ya!" Xavier answered happily.

"Great! Thanks Xavier I owe you one!"

"No problem dude,  ummm Jace?"

"Yeah?"

"Don't worry about paying, it's on the house. But could ya set me up on a date with your sis Izzy?"

"Thanks man! And Xavier, Izzy has a boyfriend, remember? The Daylighter, Simon."

"Oh yeah! It was worth a shot. Say hey to Clary for me!"

"Hahaha! Will do man! Thanks again!" said Jace, then he hung up the phone.

 Well now that I know the restaurant is ready for myself and Clary I better go tell her about the date.
