'I opened my eyes to sunny blue skies. I don't know where I am. I looked around. There were other kids. A lot of kids. I can't remember anything.' This is an adventure book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This was inspired by my summer...
I awoke to singing birds and the sunshine. I got up. I glanced over at the boys. They were fast asleep. I climbed out the tree and started walking to a pond. I looked at my reflection in the water. Same brown eyes. There was a bush with peculiar red berries next to the pond. I picked a berry and tasted it. It tasted familiar. Are these cranberries? I gobbled up some more. I haven't eaten at all before. Then I remembered my thirst. I went back to the pond and gulped down some water. I got up. Not knowing what to do, I started wandering around. I heard something. It sounded like flowing water. I followed the noise and found a creek. I sat on my knees and watched the water flow by. Then I started wondering. What if I had a mother and father, before this. I must've had a family. I just don't remember it. I watched as a minnow rapidly swam by. I wonder if minnows are edible. They're pretty small. I saw a peculiar shape in the water. It was under a rock. I yanked the object out of the water. It was a net. The handle was slightly broken. A group of minnows came swimming by. A minnow is a small fish. I swung my net at them. I pulled my net out of the water. There were none in my net. I glared at the net, disappointed. I put the net down. Then something in the creek caught my eye. I went closer for a better look. It was a small creature. It looked awfully similar to a lobster, but it was WAY smaller.

I got my net and swiftly captured it. It was pretty easy to catch.
10 minutes later
I caught two minnows. One more tiny lobster. The minnows were slowly dying in my net. The tiny lobsters were fine. I carefully brought them back to the tree. By the time I was at the tree, Tom and Sung Min were awake.
"What do you have there, Is that a net?" Tom asked. I showed them the creatures I caught.
"와우!" Hyeon exclaimed. Wow, Hyeon said. It's strange how I know only Korean and English.
"I caught them in a creek I found," I told them. "Also, I was wondering, what are those tiny lobster creatures?" I asked Tom.
"Those are Crayfish" he answered. Then Sung Min grabbed a crayfish and put it in his mouth.
"성민! 그것을 먹지 마라!" I shouted at him. Tom burst out laughing. Sung Min was making crunching noises while eating. It took him 2 minutes to finish. Then he gave a thumbs up. Tom grabbed one and ate it.
"These are delicious!" he exclaimed. I took a minnow and ate it. Tasted pretty good. I showed them the creek and gave them the net to catch something.

We came back to the tree. We caught enough crayfish for 3 days, at least I think so. Crayfish could use some cooking. Maybe we could boil the crayfish and minnows. However, making a fire is unwise considering it would attract the attention of people. And we don't want anyone 'it' coming to us. We snacked on crayfish and minnows for the rest of the day and went to sleep at sundown.
