Chloe's POV

Hey journal.
So this trip to the lake house has been hereby declared lame.
No one wants to talk to me with everything that went down and it's driving me insane.
I have no answers to my many questions.
Why can't Bonnie tell me more about the "wound" she opened up??
Why can't Shawn tell me what the heck went down between us??
Why can't Ashton just pick up his damn phone??

The world may never know..

"Bon, I'm heading to the café to buy breakfast," I say to her door. I haven't seen her leave the room in a few days. I hear some muffling but I just leave it.

I put a jacket on and slip on my boots before taking my bag and car keys and heading out to the car. This is technically Bonnie's car since I left mine at home but Bonnie doesn't mind if I drive it. She's cool with things like this... Except when it comes to Shawn... Then she's a total butt.

I start up the car and stick my hands in front of the warm air ventilating through the car. It wasn't the best idea to move during the beginning of winter. But it's fine. I enjoy the cold.

When I park outside the café, there were a few guys waiting by the door with huge cameras. Oh god, let me guess. A famous celebrity was caught inside getting coffee. I wonder who it could be.

I ignore the paparazzi and head inside. I want my food and that's all that matters. There was a line in front of me so I just stood there waiting.

I looked around the place, expecting to find Shawn and just to my luck, he was sitting at a table with a few other guys. I'm guess they work for him? I have no idea. I don't know what goes on in the music industry. I sound like a dying cat for crying out loud.

"What can I get for you?" The cashier asks before looking at me. "The usual?"

I nod before handing her my card. It's sad that they remember my order. I would go somewhere else in town but I simply don't want to. This place is closer and they have some bomb hot chocolate.

My phone started ringing as I checked the Caller I.D. I was shocked when it read: Ash.

I stared at it like it was a million bucks or something. I snap out of it before sliding the green button.

"H-hello?" I say in to the phone. Is this real?

"Chloe?" Ash asks as a smile grew on my face. Not only that, I felt a tear roll down as well. "Are you there?"

I cry a bit, "yeah, yeah... I'm here."

I probably look like a freak right about now. I was standing there crying happy tears in the middle of the café. Don't see that everyday now do ya.

"Ah Chlo, you don't know how I've missed your voice," he says as more tears roll down my face. His voice sounds more raspy and kind of sexy. Don't judge me. "I know I won't be able to apologize enough for not reaching out to you."

I shake my head even though he can't see me... However, everyone else can so I quickly made my way back to the car.

"It's okay Ash, I'm just so happy to hear your voice," I smile. "How are you? What have you been up to? Where are you?-"
