Chapter three: the funeral

It has been two weeks since the death of Fred Andrews. Most of the town are suffering with grief while some some others are dealing with his death with there own ways. Archie Andrews hasn't been seen or heard of since that day in the hospital. He has missed two weeks of school Betty has never seen him come out of his house when she walked home from school, Betty, Veronica and jughead try to come over to his place and talk to him but no one answers everyone that was closest to him always text him to see how he is doing and if he is okay but he never replies.

Betty was sitting on her bed when she saw movement from Archie's room she got up from her bed and looked out her window she saw Archie putting back up his punching bag she watched him punch it for ten minutes before deciding to text him

Betty
Arch are you okay? Please answer me
Betty was surprised when she saw him typing back to her

Archie
I'm fine I just want to be alone

Betty sighed reading his reply but she understood that he wanted to be alone

Betty
Are you coming to your dads funeral?
Betty looked out the window and saw Archie looking at her then typing in his phone

Archie
Yeah 

Betty looked up from her phone and saw that Archie was gone from his window, Betty sighed and heard her door open it was jughead

"How's he doing?"jughead asked

"I wish I knew he really doesn't say much"Betty said"and I don't blame him you know how I head when I found out Polly was gone"

"I know I just I wish we could help him"jughead said sitting down on Betty's bed

"Well the best we can do now is give him the space he needs"Betty said to her boyfriend

"I know"jughead said"but we can't just sit here and wait for him to go back to himself Betty we have to help him threw it"

"I wish I knew how jug"Betty said"he said he will be at his dad's funeral tomorrow so maybe we can try then"

"Yeah I just can't imagine what's happening with him right now"jughead said"remember when Archie said that the agent was asking him about that his dad might have been involved with the serpents and Clifford blossom?"

"Yeah but that agent had no idea what they where talking about"Betty said

"I mean I can ask if around if he was"jughead said which made betty mad

"Jug I thought you said you weren't going to join them?!"Betty said

"I'm not it was an open invitation"jughead said"look it will help clear some things up"

"Your right"Betty said"just be careful"Betty said then jughead went over to her and gave her a kiss

"I love you"jughead said which made Betty smile

"I love you too"Betty said then kissed her boyfriend again.

It was the next day the most dreadful day Archie Andrews would never hope of his fathers funeral Archie was putting on his suit when he heard a knock on his door he went downstairs and opened the door to see his girlfriend standing there.
