Chapter six: what you should do and what you want to do

Archie was sitting in his desk looking at the clock it was his last class he was shaking his leg when he heard the bell ring he grabbed his bag and walked out of his class he went straight to the exit when principal weatherbee stopped him

"Mr Andrews"principal weatheebee said

"Yeah?"Archie said

"Can we talk for moment?"he asked Archie he nodded"in my office" Archie followed him to his office and he sat down across from him behind his desk

"So what do you want to talk about?"Archie said

"It's about your grades mr Andrews"weatherbee said"they have gone down"

"Okay?"Archie said"you know I haven't been in school for the past two weeks"

"Yes I know but I can't just ignore that your almost failing all your classes"weatherbee said"Archie Im sure you know that if you don't keep your grades up you will be kicked off the football team and suspended for three days"

"What? I can't football is all I have"Archie said"look is there anything I can do to get my grades up"

"Study"weatherbee said"you are dismissed" Archie sighed and walked out of his office he walked down the hallway it looked and felt like a ghost town no one was there he walked out of the school he still can't that dream out of his head he continued to walk home from school when he was stopped by Reggie

"Hey man"Reggie said

"Hey Reggie"Archie said back

"I am sorry to hear about your dad man"Reggie said"it sucks"

"Yeah it does"Archie said continuing to walk

"Look If you want to talk or anything i am here"Reggie said

"Okay thanks man"Archie said

"See ya"Reggie said going back the other way Archie walked until he got to Veronica's apartment he knocked on the door and Hiram opened it

"Ah mr Andrews what a surprise"Hiram said"if your looking for Veronica she went to the god awful diner for the reopening"

"Thanks"Archie said leaving Hiram shut the door and went to his phone he dialed a number and waited for it to answer them it did

"Hello this is Hiram lodge"Hiram said"I'm good thank you I am looking for your son tell him to come down to riverdale as soon as he gets this it's important".

Archie walked to pops he stooped outside of the diner he saw Betty jughead and Veronica sitting down and talking he went to the entrance and opened the door he heard the bell above him ring and saw that the whole diner was looking at him like he was a witch he walked over to his friends table he heard some whispering but he ignored it, he sat down next to Veronica

"Hey Archie"jughead said trying to talk to him"how you been? Since the break in?"

"Fine"Archie said he looked out of the booth and looked over to where he remembered his dad getting shot Archie closed his eyes as he tried forgetting those memories

"Archie you okay?"Veronica asked

"Yeah great"Archie said sarcastically

"What's wrong"Veronica said

"I just found out my grades are down"Archie said

"Weren't they always down"jughead said making Archie look at him angrily"kidding"

"Weatherbee told me if I can't get my grades up I'm going to get kicked off the team and suspended and I'm going have to repeat tenth grade"Archie said
