I waited for you

deep in the orchard I waited for you,

my arms open and smile aglo

Was it hours that I waited?

Days, months, years?

But still I waited,

faith my bread and hope my water

Soon though the hope began to fade,

and my arms began to close

Weren't you on your way?

lost, distracted, forgotten?

But still I waited,

determined to give you one more chance

Eyes grew heavy and legs began to tremble,

my thoughts turned dark with doubt

How could I ever have believed in your lies?

Foul, twisted, decietful?

But still I waited,

Eager to unleash my wrath upon you

Anger cooled and hate trasnformed to longing,

wishing I could see your figure just once more

How long at it been since I'd seen your face?

Eyes, nose, lips?

But still I waited,

Fading memories my only comfort

Deep in the orchard I died waiting for you,

Oh how I wish I'd told you where to find me
