~ Nimmi's POV ~
I prepared some coffee and toast for Anand the next morning and brought it to the room. Upon smelling it, Anand dashed over, straightening his tie in the process.
"I could have this downstairs Mrs Gupta. And besides, you're pregnant. You shouldn't be doing all this." Anand said.
"No. It's okay. It's my gesture for apologising for what I've done." I said and he looked me
in the eye.
"I should be the one saying sorry. You had to go through all this because of me. I hurt you." Anand said.
"Yes. It's true that you hurt me. But I may have overreacted by not listening to your side of the story. It must've been tough for you too didn't it? Trying so hard to keep me yours, yet avoiding Diana." I asked.
"I have to admit. Yes. It was tough." Anand said.
"I'm sorry." I said, giving a weak smile.
"It's okay. Come here." Anand called me into a hug and we gave each other a tight hug.
