There are times in life when you feel like giving up and letting go, times when life throws lots of shitty moments your way and you feel as if nothing is worth anything. Many at times you question the very essence of living, of persevering, the reason to continue forging ahead but nothing seems right and nothing seems to be going your way.
That has been the order of things for Samantha Julie Castle. Born to her mother Athena Castle and Julian Castle, whom she never met, Samantha lived a simple life until she had to say goodbye to her mother at the age of fifteen.
She always believed in her mother's words that one day she would meet a man like her father who would provide her with lots of love and peace and happiness.
And she did meet a man, Alexander Powers whom she fell in love with and loved her back or at least she thought he did love her. Married to him at the age of nineteen and divorced on her first year anniversary for reasons she could not understand.
The only constant good thing in her life had been her friend and confidant, Vivian .
So with all she had gone through she finally had a reason to live, to smile, to move ahead and become the successful woman her mother always knew she was. And her reason for being alive is her children,

But she couldn't shake off the sadness and anger that was burning inside her.
She could have died.....
She almost lost her daughter.....
Her son could have been motherless....
And he would not know anything.....
So what was the point in hoping he would come back? What was the need to wait for him? Why should her life come to a standstill because of a man? He already moved on........so why was she waiting?
"Hello earth to Sam" Vivian called out loud.
Blinking once, twice and finally focusing on who's in front of her "huh oh Viv its you"
"Uh yes its me not your prince charming Sam where the hell did your mind wander off to?"
"Uh sorry just thinking about this and that"
"Well stop, the doctor said you can leave in the morning tomorrow"
"Finally I'm getting out of here"
"And how are my godchildren doing today" she asked in baby voice pecking both babies on their foreheads
"As long as there's no lipstick on your lips you can kiss them both without having to worry if you'll use your lip again" Samantha said with humor
"Pssh I'll kiss them with or without lipstick sis just worry about your mouth and belly because you'll definitely be eating like crazy now" Vivian teased
