Chapter 2

2 and half months later

The nurses had hurriedly come out with a stretcher to help a now crying Samantha. Holding unto Vivian in a strong grip, and with puffy scared eyes , Samantha looked like she wanted to escape the pain but there was no way out.

"Oh my God please make it stop Vivian please I'm really scared" Samantha cried out as another contraction hit her hard.

Unable to walk she was put on the stretcher, all through it all she never left Vivian's hand.

"You'll be fine Sam I promise"
Vivian tried to sound strong even though she was falling apart inside, she would never let her sister down at such a critical moment.

"He promised to be with me, he promised to never let me go, oh God he promised that I wouldn't do this on my own" Sam finally voiced out her hurt and sadness and they all jumbled up into one pregnant woman in labor who had a terrible emotional scar.

"Sam not now please it will all be fine just focus" Vivian tried desperately to divert her mind from thinking about him, dark brown eyes staring strongly at equally dark brown eyes willing them to stop thinking about a painful past.

"Ok we are gonna take her in now" a nurse said  "you'll need to stay back miss"

"No no oh my God no she can't leave me alone now I'll die , please I need her with me" Samantha wailed out loud

"Ok she'll join you but she needs to put on something and then she'll join you" the nurse said

30 minutes later

"Ok Samantha come on just one big push on the count of five and you'll officially become a mom" the young female doctor said.

"Come on sister you can do this" Vivian was holding Sam's hand just as tightly as she was holding hers but it didn't matter at least not for now.

Breathing in and out very fast, and looking at Vivian, Samantha gave a big push with a loud cry. Her thighs shook as her baby boy came out.

"Congratulations you have a baby boy" the doctor said with a big smile on her face and handed over the newly born to his mother.

Love shone in Samantha's eyes as she looked at her new son, all the pain going away but she was about to open her mouth to speak when another contraction hit her.

"Oh my God oh my God its coming again ahh "

A nurse quickly collected the baby from her. All her instincts were to push and she did so pushing with all her strength left. The doctor quickly got back to work and guided her as another head was visible. Vivian could not fathom what was happening as far as she could remember all her scans never reported twins.

The cry of her sister was what jolted her back from her thoughts as she pushed again and finally brought another child into the world.
"Is that another baby?" Vivian asked wide eyed, if it were another time or situation Samantha would have had another come back for her but she was to busy wondering why the child had not cried.

"Doctor he's not crying" Samantha barely got the words out as she saw the doctor rubbing the child's back.
This time it was Vivian who became scared of what might be happening

"Oh no please no"

Samantha's heart sunk as she stared wide eyed at the baby. Everything became blurred as she felt everywhere spinning, the machine beside her began to beep uncontrollably as her mind went into overdrive.

"Sam, Sam please look at me look at me damn it " Vivian desperately shook her but her eyes had rolled back and Vivian let out a desperate cry as she was pulled out of the labour room.
