#10: Girl? Girl.

Jungkook lead us towards a dark and eerie basement with a flashlight. The boys seemed to have known more about the basement more than I do, but I proceeded to walk into the basement anyway since I knew that I'd trust them.

" Jungkook, what's this place? " I asked out of curiosity as the basement was getting darker, little by little. It was scaring me, but I clenched my fist and stayed positive.

" Oh, it's just a place that I think we should introduce you to. " Jungkook said and whistled. We walked deeper in and got nearer and nearer to a dead end.

" Yo kook, what are you planning? This place is long gone. " Hoseok said.

" Wait and see."

Jungkook sighed and pushed a wooden button on the wall and a pathway was revealed through the wall.

" Urm, I assume we're going through thaat?" I pointed my index finger at the pathway.

" Shh. Get in. " Jungkook shushed me and walked towards the pathway. The hyungs were also as curious and they even gave Jungkook looks.

I wonder what Jungkook has in mind for bringing us here.

We all walked forward till we saw light coming from the end of the path. Everyone was trying to see what was at the end of the path, but I clearly knew what was there.

" Guys, I see a silhouette of a girl. She's waving at you guys. " I told everyone as they widened their eyes.

Questions started running through my clueless mind.

Wait, did I just say that there's a girl? What is a girl doing here?

" S-Sasha? " Jimin opened his mouth wide. He waved at her and ran to her with excitement. Everyone looked shocked and fastened their pace towards that girl whom I assume she's called, Sasha.

Who is this 'Sasha'?

I followed the boys and looked at Taehyung, the person whom I trusted recently.

He looked extremely...Happy.

I looked down and sighed. It wasn't feeling right.

" So, I know I've returned, yes. I came back because I knew something was wrong. I assume, it's the group that we've fought with before. " Sasha explained as everyone in front of her sat down on a wooden chair, facing her as she's pointing at a picture of a group of people I didnt find familiar with, " A lot of things happened to me back then ever since I was a new exchange student in the new school. "

She's extremely pretty. I'll totally understand why the boys would drool over her. Maybe Taehyung too might fall for her.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce myself to uh--" Sasha looked at me.

" Hello, Sasha. I assume you've once teamed up with them? " I asked.

" Mhmm. Yes. "

We were planning about the issue but words just never got into my mind, so I remained clueless from the start since the lecture was starting to bore me. The boys were looking forward to the plan all except Taehyung.

He looked nervous.

I tapped his shoulder and looked at him in a way that he'll know if I was asking him about what was bothering him without actually saying a word.

" Later. " he sighed.

His later got me thinking a lot too.

"Alright so Hoseok you'll go from the back and I will stay close with Taehyung. Jimin you'll get ready to take him from the front. The rest, I'll leave it to the explore the place for more information. As for the new girl, she'll be distracting the leader with us. " Sasha explained. She smiled and stood up, " That's all. I'll be returning back to my hometown after this case is closed. "

What a leader she is

and also--a very pretty lady.

We all left the place, leaving Sasha in the basement planning the outcome ahead of us.

Out of all things and roles, I just had to be the distraction.

" Hyung, you okay? I'm sorry I didn't tell you that she was coming along too. After all, we actually needed her." Jungkook gulped and walked next to Taehyung. The rest went on their separate ways, since they had a busy schedule.

"You could've at least told me, Jungkook. I could've been mentally prepared to see her. "

My heart dropped as I heard Taehyung refering to Sasha. It wasn't because I was jealous, he was the only one whom I really trusted and believed in. I didn't want him to just go like that. To some other person and care for her more than me. He might even leave me out and I don't really know the rest well enough to even start a conversation.

" I'm sorry hyung, but I have to return home. My mum wants me home. I'll.. see you tomorrow. " Jungkook waved and walked back home. It is left with me and the upset Taehyung. Questions started popping up in my head as a sighed in frustration, not knowing the answer to it.

"Mind if I ask a question, Taehyung?"

"I don't mind."

I took a deep breath, " Who is Sasha to you. Why are you upset? What am I missing? Tell me the truth now. " I stopped walking and looked at him straight in the eye. I folded my arms and tapped my feet while waiting for an answer from him.

" Sasha, I used to have feelings for her and we used to be together. I saw her texts with another guy and--" Taehyung stopped and held his tears. He then lowered his head to look at his feet, " I'm still not over her yet, though I'm trying to. Our memories were everything to me. I was happy and she was too. Why can't things be back to normal?" Taehyung sighed. His tears welled up more and more in his eyes and soon seeped down his cheeks.

He was heartbroken.

" Taehyung, I don't know how to help you but I can give you a piece of advice. I suggest you move on and find someone way better. She just isn't the one for you. She cheated on you and is happy with someone else. Even if she sees you heartbroken like this nothing will change. It's for the best and this probably happened for a reason. Fate not." I smiled and opened my arms.

" If you need a hug you can hug me. If you don't need one I'll give you some space. After all ,you can't hug the boys too. " I smiled.
