Lena and Kara sat nervously waiting in the hospital waiting room, today was the day. The day that they would find out if they were having a baby boy or a baby girl. Not that the gender of the baby mattered, what mattered is that they baby were healthy. Lena looked at the people around her, an old man was sitting reading the newspaper, some kids were playing rock, paper, scissors, a couple was sitting snuggling each other. Everywhere around them were filled with people of different ages, sexualities, religions and ethnic backgrounds.
- Mrs Luthor-Danvers?
A nurse called out Lena's name. Both Lena and Kara rose from their places and followed the nurse. After a little while they arrived to the doctor's room.
- Dr Petersen will be with you shortly
The nurse said then walked away

After a little while Dr Petersen arrived
- Hi Lena, Hi Kara how are you guys?
- I am feeling good Kara said
- And what about you Lena, how do you feel?
- Good a little nervous thought.
- So are you ready shall we begin the ultrasound?
Lena laid down on the hospital bed while Dr Pedersen prepared the ultrasound machine
- Are you ready? Dr Pedersen asked before putting the gel on Lena's stomach
Lena shivered she always forgot how cold the gel was.
- Your baby is healthy, growing well. Do you want to find out the sex?
Both Lena and Kara nodded
- Congratulations guys you are having a girl
Lena and Kara started crying happy tears, they were having a girl
