Kara rang the doorbell to her parents' house, she knew she had the key and could walk right in. But ringing the doorbell would've been a better surprise for her parents. Or her mom at least her father already knew what was going on.
Some seconds passed before Kara, Lena, and Alex could hear footsteps approaching the door.
The door opened and Kara's mother gasped with a surprised expression on her face.
- Girls? What are you doing here? She asked
- Can't we visit our moms for a reason? Asked Alex smirking
- I mean yes of course...just that it feels like something is going on. I mean I am very happy to have you girls here. But you usually call before coming.
Sierra whimpered, making Eliza realise that she should probably step inside and let the girls in.
After all the girls had managed to get their jackets and shoes off they all headed into the living room and sat down on the sofa
- So how was the trip to here? Asked Eliza
- It was fine, the plane ride went really fine, Sierra only fussed a little bit answered Lena.
- Oh...that is good, I remember when me and Jeremiah had our first flight with Kara, she cried a lot and it wasn't easy with Alex singing the intro to tail spin also.
Lena laughed...well I am glad that Alex didn't sang that song on the flight towards here, Lena told Eliza
- Hey, I've got a beautiful song voice. Said Alex with a whiny voice.
Kara and Lena both burst out in laughter at Alex reaction. Soon Eliza and Alex were also laughing making all girls laugh at the same time.
...
Just when the girls had calmed down from all the laughter the doorbell rang
- Oh, that must be Maggie and Jaime. Maggie had to drive and pick something up. Said Alex lying
- Oh, then let them in Alex, you can go and open the door since it's your wife answered Eliza
- Mum can you, do it? My bladder is really full and I really need to go to the toilet. Answered Alex
Eliza walked towards the door and opened it, not noticing Alex who still sat in the sofa now with her phone in her hands filming.
Eliza opened the door and gasped at the sight in front of her, there Jaime was holding a basket filled with dog stuff such as a leash, collar, squeaky toys and some bones. And Maggie was holding a Bichon Havanese in her arms. The same Havanese she had fallen in love with in National City.
- What? What is this? Asked Eliza with tears in her eyes
- I saw how you looked at the dog when we were at the event in national city, so I wanted to surprise you, so I told the others my plan and they all helped me. He's yours now mum
Eliza couldn't believe it the dog that she had wanted was right in front of her. She brought all the girls into a big old hug.
Kara felt herself get squeezed into the big hug, this was it her family and she could never be happier.
