When I find myself
facing you
in this place beyond time
I see gossamer forms
where bone and flesh
once buttressed and sheathed
you, an endless night
where a solid stance
once anchored and sustained
you in earthly
understanding.
When I stretch my hand
out to touch you
the spaciousness between us
springs to life,
teams with sparkling possibilities,
a perpetual silvering
stream of consciousness,
where mind plunges into
embodiment and servitude,
and submits itself
to mortal reality.
Here
in this space beyond mind
I intuit knowledge
of the purest kind
impart its language,
now resonant with
the deepening rhythms of heart's play,
which eventually gives way
to a dance with
steps relinquished for
eternity.
Desire flows
in this meta*physical place,
tranquil, eternal,
a river brimming
with mysterious treasures
and shimmering pleasures. Into this
runs a fluid movement outside time,
a deep current that resists
thinking itself forward
by surrendering
in absolute faith.
