Riko's P.O.V.

I was rubbing my head and trying to regulate my breathing as I was shown to this new girl. She was very pretty but I only like Hiro. I'm starting to believe that I will only ever like him and no one else. Reba and the new neko walked towards me. She wore a summer dress and some sandals the dress was whit with a pink trim and I couldn't really see the sandals due to the grass.

The girl had pitch black hair opposite to my white hair. She was smiling and waved slightly to me and I could feel the awkward atmosphere growing around us. Things were moving way to fast for me. And if anyone is my mate it would have to be Hiro, no one else. It's not possible, I wouldn't accept it at all. Absolutely no.

"Riko this is Alicia and she's going to be your mate." Reba said and I looked up at them and then at Nira. Cynthia ran over to me and I saw that her eyes were red and get grinned onto my arm her head on my shoulder. "I don't like Alicia, she's mean." She said. And I looked at Alicia not believeing Cynthia.

I mean Alicia can be nice, she looks nice and it seems they all like her. But I didn't know what to say so I got off Nira and sat up wrapping my free arm around Cynthia. I'm not saying she's wrong just maybe a little mistaken. I also just met Cynthia, Ash, Snow and Alicia so I don't really know anything about everyone to tell me if they're lying or not.

"I think Riko should rest and you two can talk later." Nira said and the brother that I still don't know the name of yet helps me up. "I agree." The unknown neko says as he helps me in a standing position. Ash takes Cynthia away from me and I feel a lot lighter with her off. I still don't feel well at all.

"Fine." Reba says crossing her arms and giving us all a glare as Ash, My unknown brother and Nira lead me in a direction. I then hear Reba apologizing to Alicia about all of this. Why is Reba nice to Alicia but not us? That doesn't make any sense to me.

"You shouldn't have come here Riko." Nira said. "I sent you off for a reason." he sighed looking down. I was astonished. I didn't know what to think, so or say. I just kept walking my support on my brother.

"W-what?" I asked barely over a whisper as my head started to hurt more.

"I-I had to do it. Reba is so controlling you were the only one I could get away when you were born. Ash had to stay here, but she found out about you. It was for your own good." He goes on.

"Why?" Cynthia, Ash and the other stays silent and I watch Nira and I was led into a house him walking in front of me.

"If you haven't realized she wants to control everything around her. And I wanted at least you to be saved and now you're here and she's had you meet Alicia so soon too."

Nira embraces me. I was in utter shock. He was the one who left me out there in the rain. But he just wanted to protect me. I'm here now though. "Over the years I've been watching over you aswell."

Nira told me as I was set on a bed and I felt so much better laying down. "I made sure Hiro was good for you. If he wasn't then I would have found someone different to take care of you, I even helped you transform into this from instead of being a full cat."

I couldn't think. Why can't things go slow for me like in the past? I'm finding out so many things now and its going by way to fast making me dizzy. I felt Nira wipe my face and that's when I noticed I was crying.

I was so happy and mad at the same time. Happy because I finally knew that at least one of my parents has cared for me all of these years without me knowing. Mad because all of Nira's hard work to keep me safe has been destroyed cause she found me and I'm an idiot.

"How did she find me then? And why didn't you tell me this sooner? You could have left me a note or something all those years ago. I've been in the dark for so long!" I exclaim crying even harder.

I was hugged by Cynthia after she wiggled out of Ash's arms. "And all of you knew?"

"Not all exactly. Snow doesn't know about this unless mom told her about it all. Snow can't always be trusted with big things like this. We all love her but sometimes she has a big mouth." the unknown neko says. "Oh! And by the way my name is Alex." I nod trying to comprehend all of that.

"I did leave a note for you Riko, but I guess Hiro never saw it. It explained everything to you. About all of this. And well I messed up. I was watching you from the portal room and she came in and got everything out of me." He sighs rubbing his head. "She's keeping me on an even tighter leash. She doesn't know that these three know about what happened in the past or else, things could go worse even more quickly."

He explained to me, and I was exhausted with all the information that I had gathered today. I didn't think so much was going to happen at all. I don't think I'm prepared to be under the tyrant. I don't think ill be able to handle it. Ontop of all of this Reba wants me to mate with Alicia. I don't even know what all of that means.

Everyone leaves except for Cynthia as she had fallen asleep. I don't really mind, I miss sleeping next to someone. I already miss Hiro so much my heart feels as if it were breaking. I yawn and hope everything with get better later.

swamped with school,

and just got a new job,
