My Story

chapter 8

I couldn't see anything all I could see was darkness.
"Skylar,honey please wake up."
I slowly opened my eyes. I was in a hospital room my mothers face in front of mine.

"What happened?" I asked clutching my aching head. "You tried-" she started but couldn't get the rest of the words out instead she started to sob.

"Why did you do that skylar, there are so many people in the world that love you" she cried again and I cried with her.

After 2 days of eating hospital food I was released. When We Got home I sat In my bed trying to go over what had happened.

I committed suicide well tried to at least. It sucks that it didn't work. I still just want to leave the world. leave all my problems behind.

"skylar?" I was itterupted by a soft knock at my door.

"Hey mom."
She walked over and sat on my bed. My mom was skinny had dark Brown hair down to her waist and chocolate brown eyes.unlike me who is still overweight and has blond hair and blue eyes. sometimes I think Im adopted.

"Honey I know that you don't want to talk about it yet but I just want to tell you I'm here."she paused expecting me to cry and tell her everthing.but I wasn't going to do that.

She sighed "The principal just called he asked me when your coming back I told him monday." I froze tommorrow was Monday "why would you do that?" I asked standing up.

"Because you need your friends." I laughed.she looked at me confused "mom,I don't have friends I can't go back to school,not yet."

"well to bad." she said and walked out I slammed the door behind her and screamed. I threw the pillows on my bed to the floor and screamed again. I screamed out of frustration out of anger out of fear.

My whole body shook I tried to control my breathing but my breathing was controlling me. I couldn't take it anymore I needed a way out.my eyes flickered to the heart shaped container on my dresser the one that had the blades.

I slowly walked over to it and grabbed the blade and sliced my skin opened. I kept going and going untill my vison went blurry. Then my vision went black because I had fainted.
