Friday hadn't come around soon enough. Hermione was beyond nervous. What if he met her and decided he didn't like her? What if she was uglier in person? What if he stood her up and never came? They had agreed to meet at 2:30 in Hermione's favorite book store. Oddly enough, he had suggested this. He didn't strike Hermione as one to read.

Hermione was never one to sleep in. She woke around seven on Friday morning. She fixed her self a cup of tea and a good sized breakfast. Her and Draco decided to eat before they met up. She scrolled through Instagram seeing no new posts from Draco. She wondered if he was nervous to meet her too.

Draco didn't wake up from his slumber until around ten thirty. He didn't usually sleep that late. He was up the majority of the night thinking about what he'd wear to meet Hermione. First impressions were everything, after all. The first thing he did was take a warm shower. He liked starting off his mornings this way. It helped wake him up in a relaxing way.

After some time of trying to find the perfect outfit, Draco finally settled on one. He went to the kitchen to see that his mother had already prepared a lunch. It was now just after twelve.

"Draco, dear, I figured you'd like to have some lunch. I made your favorite!" Said his mother. "Why are you all dressed up?"

"No reason. I'm just going to meet a friend. Thank you for this lunch mum. It looks fantastic!" Said Draco.

"Oh! Are you going to meet Blaise?"

"No."

"Is it a girl?"

"Maybe."

"Who is it? Do you like her? Have we met? Is she pretty?"

"She's something special."

"Who is it?"

"Hermione Granger. She goes to Gryffindor High School."

"You must bring her home."

"I will soon. I don't want father to scare her off quiet yet."

Draco had arrived ten minutes before they had planned. He wanted to be there first. He walked into the book store a little ways before finding a chair to sit in to wait. The bell on the front door jingled. This caused Draco to look up. What he saw blew him away. Hermione Granger was no doubt the prettiest person he had ever laid eyes on. He stood to greet her.

"Hermione!" Draco exclaimed as he approached her.

"Draco!" She said as she greeted him with a hug. "You're much taller than I thought you would be." Draco toward over Hermione. He was at least 6'1" and she stood much shorter.

"Well you're much more beautiful than I expected," Draco winked. Hermione slapped him in the chest.

"Come on! I want to show you my favorite section," Hermione said as she grabbed his hand. Draco smiled as he gladly let her pull him along.

After hours of browsing the book store (and Draco buying Hermione a few books, much to her objection), it was nearing sunset.

"Come on, there's something I want to show you." It was Draco's turn to grab her hand and drag her along. Draco held his car door open for Hermione as she laughed, stepping in. As Draco placed the keys in the ignition, the radio started to play.

"I love this song!" They both exclaimed at the same time. They both laughed and started singing at the top of their lungs as Draco drove to the mystery location.

"There's a song that I think you'll like,
This guy decides to quit his job and heads to New York City,
This cowboys running from himself,
And she's been living on the highest shelf,

Oh, and they come unstuck,

Lady, running down the the riptide,
Taken away to the dark side,
I wanna be your left hand man,
I love you when you're singing that song,
And,
I get a lump in my throat cause,
You're gonna sing the words wrong," they sang the entire car ride.

When they finally reached the top of a hill, Draco pulled over and parked. "This is it," he said, glancing at Hermione. They both got out of the car and looked at the view. It over looked a lake.

"I love it," Hermione gasped. "How'd you find it?"

"I don't know. I was just driving one day and came across it. I like to come here to watch the sunset."

Draco pulled out a blanket and laid it on the ground. They both took a seat. Draco wrapped his arm around Hermione as she leaned into him. As the sun went down, in that moment, everything was perfect.
