As soon as everyone arrived at Blackthorn Hall, everyone (especially Dru) became so happy.
"Did you know that this place used to belong to the Lightwood's?" said Dru. Julian looked at her and smiled as Dru countined. "I guess back in 1878 Benedict Lightwood threw a ball here that had several demons who attended. He got something called astriloa or,"
"Demon pox."said Kit. Everyone looked at him in a confused way. "Kit," Mark started. "How do you know of the demon pox?" Kit just shrugged. "The last time I saw Jace, he told me that an ancestor of his made a song about demon pox. He's like my great great great something cousin I think." Dru just looked at him, then countined. "It is said that he was slain in that garden over their by his own son's and other shadowhunters. I wonder if he is a ghost and is lurking around here." Tavvy looked at Julian, terror was in his eyes. "Jules, is that bad man still around here?" Tavvy asked. Julian just grabbed his baby brother's hand and shot a glance at Dru. "Okay, since this is kinda like a vacation, no talking about demonic worms being slayed in gardens." Julian said. Dru cracked a smile "I never said that he turned into a worm." said Dru. Magnus, who had stayed silent since they got here laughed to himself "I remember Alec saying something about when him and Jace learned about demon pox, Jace called Alec a Lighworm for a month." Magnus looked down at the watch that Alec gave him for their five-year anniversary. "Well it's getting late and I have to tuck the kids into bed, I will see you guys if you go to the institute." Magnus made up a portal, wigled his fingers filled with rings and glitter, and just like that, he was gone.
Ty, reached the steps and sat down and started to unpack his bag. He pulled out binoculars, which was out of the ordinary seeing as he normally brings his micro-glass. Everyone went inside except for Julian and Ty, who was also unpacking granola bars and his gear. "Ty," Julian started. "What are you doing?"
"Well in the past three months, there has been a hooded figure going around town and stopping things in the dead of night. All we know is that the person is definetly not mundane, and is also stopping wolf and vampire attacks. I'm honestly a bit surprised that the clave hasn't checked this out, so I am going to. Wanna come?" Ty asked. Julian had to admit that he was a bit intrigued. I wanted to meet with Tessa to see if she knew anything, Julian thought. "You know, why not Ty." Julian said and grabbed a granola bar. "We won't have to wait long since it's ten at night, but we could go into town and look there." Said Ty. So Julian and Ty started for London.

Emma loved going into London at night. She had to be extra careful since she had the baby, but she was getting used to it. She stood on top of a house (thankful for the soundless rune) and took down her hood. Sure it was winter and it was freezing cold, but the cool air felt relaxing against her temples. From over here, she could see the London eye that had been closed for the night. Even at night, London was still alive. With a pang in her heart, it remind Emma of Los Angeles. She sat on the roof of the house and pulled back her cloak, to reveal her belly to the wind. Emma thought it was a little bit bigger than it should be, but then again, she knew nothing about being pregnant. 14 more weeks at most she kept telling herself. Emma looked up a the moon and she had been watching the moon for a couple of months to know that it was past midnight. It seemed to be quiet tonight, which net ment that Emma was going to be bored until she had to go back to Tessa and Jem's house at four in the morning. Only to sleep until eight, and would have to keep runes on her for the rest of the day. Which couldn't be that great for the baby. She decided that over here was safe, and decided to get closer to the Blackfairs Bridge. She climbed down the side of the house, and looked into a window, which she never did. But she put on a glamour rune before so no one would notice her. She started for the window which had a bit of frost on the window that chilled her fingers. When she looked in and saw two people, not even twenty-five, putting a sleeping newborn in a crib by the window Emma was looking through. The man had dark brown hair, but not curled like Julian's. He also had green, tired eyes but he had a grin on his face, like this was what his life was leading up to. He turned and kissed his wife on the head. Her black hair spilled from her bun at the back her head. Her eyes where half closed, but filled with happiness as she grabbed her husband's hand from her shoulder and peered down at her sleeping child. Emma looked at them, wondering and imagining if things were different, if this could be her and Julian. My Julian and my baby she thought. The parents turned around, turned on an owl light that casted a faint yellow light. The couple turned off the main light and closed the door gently. Emma looked down at the baby. The baby had a lot of hair that was brown like her father's. Their was a strand of hair on her temple that Emma wanted to reach and move it. She had her lower lip out a bit, as if she was pouting. The yellow light made her long eyelashes cast tiny shadows under her eyes. The baby was beautiful. Emma decided to stop looking at a sleeping baby, even though she could do it all night long. She started back down for the ground. When she landed on the ground she leaned up against the wall. When did she become this person who would look at sleeping babies? Emma started to run, her black tennis shoes connecting swiftly with the concrete.

"What made you want to walk to London?" Julian asked his little brother when they were leaning up against a tree, waiting. Ty just shrugged and looked down at his feet. "I guess because the city isn't as loud at night. It's a nice break from it all." Julian looked over at his little brother with pity. Ty knew he was diffrent, and it pained Julian. "Do you remember," Ty said. "when I showed you a starfish I got from the beach?" Julian smiled at the memory. "You said you named it Jules, but I didn't get the chance to ask you why." Ty's eyes connected with Julian's as he started to talk again. "Starfish can re-grow arms, even though it takes a while. But when a starfish is threaten by a predator, it's arm falls off and the predator will most likely go away. When anything comes close to threatining our family, you will do anything to make sure that we are safe even if you lose something. But you always seem to get what ever you lost back. That's why I named the starfish after you Jules." Julian's eyes were definetly not dry. He put his arm around Ty's shoulder and gave him a quick hug, and Ty let him. They suddenly heard a scream from about three blocks away. Julian grabbed a sereph blade and turned to his brother. "Ty, stay behind me no matter what, okay?" Ty gave a quick nod and they took off running. When Julian and Ty got there, a hooded figure was talking to a girl with tiny horns pointing out of her chestnut hair. She wore a tight red party dress with matched her shoes. Julian heard Ty say that he was going to climb the tree next to them to get a better view Julian nodded for his brother to go ahead. The girl with the horns looked at Julian and moments later, so did the hooded figure.

As soon as Emma got near the Blackfairs bridge and realized nothing was going on, she started back for home when she heard a girl scream. Emma turned her right where the scream came from and stared into a sprint. Her shadowhunter instincts kicked in and she saw an Imp demon advancing on an about 16 year old girl. "Easy," Emma said to herself. Imp demons aren't that bad unless there is a swarm of them, then you might be in trouble. Emma pulled Cortana from her belt before leaping onto the demon. Emma quickly looked at the girl, and noticed she had small horns pointing out from her chestnut colored hair. She was in a tight red dress. The girl clearly noticed Emma, but that didn't matter. Emma sunk Cortana into the demon and it disappeared almost instantly. Emma turned to the girl, who was clearly in shock. "Are you a warlock?" Emma asked the girl. The girl looked up and met Emma's eyes. Her eyes were black with fear. "I," the girl studdered. "People say I'm an ifrit. I just was coming back from a downworlder rave I never-" The girls eyes shifted away from Emma. Emma turned around to see a boy so familiar to her. He looked as if he was running. He reached up and ran his fingers through his brown hair. His blue-green eyes filled with curiosity. Emma let out a gasp. "Jules?"
