Hello by Lionel Ritchie wasn't the right song to start this... thing off. I've never written a diary before so I apologize for not knowing what to do and the confusion it would cause a reader. Although I sincerely hope no one ever reads this. It'd be far to embarrising if someone knew my secrets.

Let me start off by telling you how people are such opposites. My most recent example being about health class. We are watching the movie She's Too Young (for the second time since eighth grade) and our teacher Mrs. Burfield put together some questions relating to the movie. If you've never seen it, (who ever may read this) it's about a high school and a bunch of students get syphilis. The first girls to get it, and the other three main characters are all ninth graders, fourteen year olds. It's absolutely crazy, makes no sense, a lot of stuff goes down and two characters look exactly the same which just adds to the confusion. At the end one of the girls says she's gonna stop playing 'the game' but then goes out with two dudes just 'one last time'. At the end she sneaks back in her room and starts crying, she falls over on her bed and another character almost gets rapped.

Anyways, the teacher asked us why we thought Becca (the girl who slept with the two dudes at the end) was crying on her bed at the very end. We were in 4 groups, and we talked about it within our groups then shared our answers with the class. The teacher called on the back group, which was consited of a couple guys, two not so shy girls, and Emmi Molly. One of the boys told the teacher they were going to have her say her answer. Although she seemed hesitant at first, she quite loudly and unashamedly said "I think she was crying because her ****** hurt."

That was just to give you a general idea of this girl. The next and last quesiton was 'Do you think fourteen is too young?' Emmi Molly was the only person (guy or girl) to say no. She did not think fourteen was too young. Obviously, she wears short skirts and flirts with every boy she sees.

I'm 16 and I'm not going to do anything. Anything until i'm married. Nothing will change my mind about this.

Why did her mom think it was a good idea for me to read this?

Rose's mind was firmly set. Did she really feel this way?
