As the words of what I believed to be a very old song say, you can't stop what happens, especially in nature. As humans we are part of nature those most people can't seem to grasp that concept. Feelings are the most... primal instinct(?) I guess we all have. And as surely as if our heart stopped beating, we wouldn't be here without feelings.
Well that got creepy fast. My point is... I talked to a guy! Hunter, one of the guys in Maria and mines nice list. And you'll never guess what I found out! Well of course YOU'LL never find out you're paper. But mom if you read this - You'll never guess what I found out about him!
I was just walking down the hallway when BAM! A door smacked me in the face! Next thing I knew I was flat on my back and my head hurt like crazy. My sight was pretty blurry too so at first I didn't recognize the shape next to what I believed to be Maria. The fluffy shape to her left grabbed my arms and started to pull me up, but seeing as how I was pretty dazed I just started to fall forward - and that's when my sight focused again. On the 'fuzzy shapes' ankle tattoo!
I had to try so hard not to laugh at the poorly thought out dolphin skull on a skateboard tattoo! Im not sure how I knew that's what it was because it looked as though it had been infected, re-inked, accidentally put in chlorine water, and then tattoo-ed over. By Tattoo-ed over I mean it looked like two tattos overlapped but you couldn't tell what the top one was.
Seeing as how my dad is a tattoo artist, I knew there was no easy fix to that. Which explained why it was "covered up". But back to the story - who ever it was carried me princess style to the nurses office, which is when I discovered I had a concussion, and was bleeding. That's also when I found out who it was that managed to give me a concussion by opening a door into my head.
It was Hunter. He apologized at least twenty times, insisted on driving me home and explaining to my parents why my head was bloody. And then (because of the effect of the weird painkillers the nurse gave me) I insisted on my father seeing if he knew a way to fix Hunter's terrible ankle tatto! I got to see Hunter's face go white! But my dad said he might know a way so then when he left - he thanked me and said he'd see me at school tomorrow.
Guess I have a new friend, huh?
~Rose
That makes a lot of sense now. I never could get her to tell me how she knew about the fat skateboarding stick figure tattoo on my ankle.
...Fine it's a skateboarding, skull headed dolphin. Who was I kidding? Oh right - Rose. I made her head (and face) the color of her name. That was the first day I met Rose, and her awesome father. he actually fixed that stupid tattoo, and in the process gave me one I'm proud to wear on my body. No - not my ankle. But that's a different story.
Yes Rose, you did have a new friend. Thankfully that new friend was Leo.
