Louis arrived at the hospital at 5:20pm on January 7th.
The hours in between were filled with anxious stomachs and tear stained cheeks. Word got out quickly about “attempted suicide from star athlete.” People from school who basically disowned Louis when he started to get out of control tried to come up to the hospital to give their poor excuse of support.
Harry glared as he saw Eleanor and her gang arrive with crocodile tears and lame apologizes to Louis's family.
Jay tried to get the hospital to let her treat her son but it was against policy but she remained by his side as much as she could and so did Harry. Harry hadn't let go of Louis's hand from the time he had found him until doctors and nurses were shoving people out of the room ready to do an emergency stomach pump.
Harry watched from outside into the window in the room of a doctor shoving a tube down Louis's throat.
It was traumatic.

“His future is ruined.” Jay cries into Dan's chest. He holds his wife tightly and rubs her back, trying to calm her.
“He'll probably have brain damage and never be the same again. How could I let this happen to my son.” Jay is hysteric as she thinks of all the bad things to come.
“They're gonna take away his scholarship for his drug usage and he'll most likely have to retake this year of school if he's even mentally capable.” Jay's tears subside but her anxiety about her son does not.
They're all in the waiting room. It was currently eleven at night and would be a few hours till Louis would wake up. Visitors couldn't come in until he is stabilized.
Niall is sat with his parents and Zayn is sat with his. Lottie had taken the kids home around nine to Dan's request. Harry sat lonesome in a chair.
His soon to be step father was currently talking with his mum who had requested to be in the room to help Louis.
“Harry do you have any idea why he would turn to such extremes after you broke up?” Dan asks as he gets Jay to take a seat to relax.
Harry uncomfortably moved in his chair. He knows Louis doesn't want his parents to know his past but would Harry really be doing good by keeping it a secret.
Before Harry has time to open his mouth Lottie is blurting out.
“He used to do drugs all the time!”
Everyone is taken back by Lottie's unexpected outburst.
“He-he what?” Jay asks in shock.
“I'm sorry mum and dad but I knew.” Lottie starts to cry.
“This is all my fault, I knew I should have told you.” Lottie cries into her hands.
Jay gets up to go hug her guilt ridden daughter.
“This isn't your fault, Lotts.” Jay comforts Lottie.
“I'm assuming you knew then Harry?” Jay asks, her voice not filled with anything that sounds like anger.
Harry hangs his head in shame.
“I knew. When you thought we were going going jogging we were actually going to drug recovery therapy.” Harry confesses.
Harry looks up when he feels a firm grip on his shoulder.
“Thank you for trying to help our son while you were with him.” Dan gives Harry a friendly smile and it makes him feel a little better knowing Louis's parents don't hate him.
