dear jeon jungkook,
when i got onto that rooftop, i didn't expect what you did. i never thought that would happen. not even in my own imagination or my dreams, but it was still an event i hoped for. maybe a little too much, to the point where i thought i had misheard you because i was so wrapped up in my own fantasy.
that moment you took my hand and led me near the edge, i thought everything had frozen. you gave me a bracelet too, one like yours. except this time mine had a rose quartz as the center. i already felt tears forming in my eyes from such a simple action by you.
then you started speaking to me. the words that left your mouth are only ones i've ever heard in a daydream. i couldn't believe that you were talking to me there for a minute. i didn't know you'd noticed that much about me, cared that much about me. it was honestly a whirlwind of feelings, all sweeping through me at the same time, daring to take me off my feet.
it was one of the best presents i could've ever wished for, you know? of course you do, you know the most about me. the letter you gave me melted my heart, and tears were falling from my face, dripping down in cascades of water. i thought they would never stop. and i don't think they ever will.
tears of happiness never do, because you keep wanting to relive that moment.
