Taehyung sighed as he observed the walls of his bland bedroom. He had been given stitches for the wounds on his arms and stronger medication, which, to him, didn't really make sense. It was him who forgot to take the pills, not the pills not working. He'd mentioned this to the nurses, but he guessed they really didn't care about him. Why would they?

Humming to his favorite song by STB, Taehyung grabbed his phone to message Mark when he saw he had 5 messages from a number that he had never seen before. "What the... who's this? XXX-XXX? I've never seen the number before." He whispered to himself. Taehyung decided to ignore it, but curiosity always kills the cat.

Taehyung swiped the notification and was met face to face with the messages. He hesitated a little before starting to read them.

???: Hello there, Taehyung.

???: I saw you today and thought you were really nice.

???: Want to be friends?

???: Don't worry, I got your number from Mark.

???: Please respond.

Taehyung: Who are you?

???: Oh, sorry. I'm Yuna.

Taehyung almost dropped his phone, disbelievement flooding through him as he read the texts. Yuna was the girl he had bumped into in the morning, as well as the girl he thought he had seen with Yoongi. But Taehyung trusted her, quite ironically. He put so much trust into the girl that seemed so nice when she spoke to him, a caring tone always in her voice. So he decided to keep talking to her.

Taehyung: Oh, hey Yuna! Sure, I'd like to.

Yuna: That's great Taehyung :D

Taehyung: Yeah! let's get to know each other?

And so Taehyung stayed like that for a while. He talked to Yuna and eventually got to know her better. The more he talked to her, the more he realized he was like her. He had an interest in her, the friendly type that could develop into more than friendly if Taehyung really wanted it too. But why should he, after all, he had Yoongi?

Now, Taehyung needed to set some things straight. He wasn't exactly gay, and he wasn't exactly straight. He was bisexual. At this time, he had only dated boys and never dated a girl before. But he wasn't willing to break up with Yoongi for someone he just met, and quite randomly too.

After a few hours of chatting, Yuna said she had to go hang out with Kyumi. Taehyung said his goodbye and put down his phone, trying to go to sleep. He snuggled himself under his covers and smiled, feeling the blanket heat up his body from the cold.

Just before he fell asleep, a ringing startled Taehyung from his sleep. Groggily, he picked up the phone and answered it. "Hello?"

"TaeTae! Hi~" the voice responded, revealing who it was.

Honestly, Taehyung was surprised Jungkook would even call him, especially this late. "Oh, hey Jungkook. What are you doing up so late?"

"I was going to tell you to meet me at the school's garden tomorrow... is that okay?" Jungkook asked nervously.

Taehyung nodded, and was trying to keep his cool. Jeon Jungkook had asked to meet him. "Okay then. See ya."

He could hear a sigh from Jungkook's end. "Yeah, see ya..."

The call ended there and Taehyung was left to silence. Before going back to sleep, Taehyung started playing at his phone, thinking, with his luck, he'd probably get another text or call from one of his friends or from the energy bunny Kyumi. Surprisingly, Taehyung was right, but it wasn't exactly something he had ever wanted to see.

He had gotten a call from Yoongi and automatically pressed the accept button. "Hey Yoongi! How are you?"

Taehyung was met with silence, and for a minute, he was worried if he had done anything to upset the elder. He had just opened his mouth to speak before Yoongi spoke.

"Let's break up."

Taehyung choked on his spit, hoping he had heard him incorrectly. "What? Why?"

Without seeing him, Taehyung knew Yoongi was running his hands through his hair just about now, in frustration at Taehyung's stupidness and seemingly incapability to understand simple Korean. "We need to break up. You and I both know this relationship is barely stable, and we've both been barely giving it our all. Besides, you seem to like hanging out with Jungkook more than you like hanging out with me."

Taehyung felt his whole world shattering apart at the hurtful words leaving Yoongi's mouth. "What do you mean? All I've done is just for you, Min Yoongi! I've been trying my best to make this relationship work when you seemed like you weren't. And no, Jungkook is just a friend that I like to hang out with! The only reason I'm with him more is because all you ever tell me when I call you to hang out is 'I'm busy, Taehyung.' I'm sick and tired of you, not myself!"

Yoongi snorted. He honestly believed all of Taehyung's rant was invalid and a string of lies strung together to make it look like the truth. "Listen, Taehyung. I don't regret a second of our relationship, but maybe we weren't meant to be. That's just the cold, hard truth."

Taehyung opened his mouth to retort, but when he finally spoke, he realized the line had been cut dead as Min Yoongi hung up on him.

Min Yoongi. Taehyung still remembered everything about them, everything about the relationship.

"Taehyung, come on! The park is really pretty at this time of the night, and I wanted you to see the stars with me!" Yoongi laughed, pulling Taehyung along to the top of a hill.

Taehyung pouted for a second before letting Yoongi pull him. "Fine. But just this once, since I really care about you. And I mean that, hyung."

Yoongi was blushing, but Taehyung couldn't see it. Thank god he couldn't; Taehyung would've teased him if he did. "Just walk faster or I'll drag you on the ground. That was not meant to be a joke, by the way."

Taehyung stayed silent in 'fear' as the two made their way to the top of the hill. Taehyung saw beautiful stars, all shining brightly in front of him. "Wow..."

Yoongi smiled. "Yeah, beautiful. I know. But none of them are as pretty as you, you know?"

Taehyung was flustered from the sudden comment. "W-what?"

He watched as Yoongi pulled a rose from behind his back. "From the day I saw you, I knew you were everything I had ever asked for. You were so pretty, and I couldn't take my eyes off of you. You know that, right? Did you see me staring at you?"

Taehyung shook his head violently.

"Well... okay. But seriously, Kim Taehyung, I love you so much. Every single part of you is amazing, and your personality is one I would like to keep by my side forever. So, Taehyung, will you be mine?" Yoongi said.

Taehyung felt tears forming, so it was like a proposal. "Of course, Yoongi. I never knew you were so cheesy..." He mumbled and gave Yoongi a hug and a kiss.

*****

But of course, those memories were all in the past for Taehyung, and none of it would ever come back.

Oh, how much Taehyung wished it would, despite how much his heart was broken.
