I was getting agitated more and more by the day, because I was bored beyond comprehension. The men are more than likely to spend their time and money bedding women from the brothel, getting piss drunk and falling asleep laughing their asses off. Not that I did any different, I would just like for some sort of adventure to fall into my lap. We all agreed if there was not a legitimate reason to be on the water, we would stay on land until then. None of the men wants to waste supplies and money, when it was not needed, and I definitely agree. I was finding it to be a harder task to keep myself occupied. I'd honestly much rather stay out at sea in my spare time, because you can never predict what will happen; only then will the future truly become unpredictable. In the mean time, I am here staring at these bastards.

My mind wandered to the countless excursions, we all have had the chance to experience. There was the day we were forced to save Nicholas from being arrested across seas, because he was being idiotic. He had been drinking entirely too much grog, and he decided that it was a excellent idea to display his ass to the lieutenant general of Paris! I wanted to strangle him, yet it seemed he learned his lesson by the way he ran through the streets of France with his pants around his knees. There was another time, when a mediocre captain, named Morigan Sydney, carelessly boasted the coordinates of where he hid his fortunes during his visit to Conn Cay's brothel. That night, myself and eight other ships sailed out to... retrieve it from it's formal location. It became a race of a lifetime, since no man was stupid enough to actually hide their fortune elsewhere than their ship. On the fifth day, only half as many ships made it to land, and it was a battle to no end. Luckily in our case, the other three ships did not stay long enough to overhear on which border the fortune was located. They arrived along the eastern border when the coordinates pertained along the western. When we all arrived back in Conn Cay, words whispered around that Sydney's fortune was missing. I had heard from one of the ladies at the brothel that he and his men personally inspected every ship that arrived back into the harbor, and found nothing.

I recalled when we arrived later, his men were at the docks waiting, " It is a magnificent morning is it not?"

" I am sure it is not as magnificent for you, is it not? Why else would you be here personally waiting to address me, or could it perhaps be that you missed me? Oh Sydney I always knew you would come around!" I smiled bashfully walking towards him, open armed, as if to embrace him.

His expression was scrutinizing, and he stepped out of the path of my embrace, " I actually am here to ask if you have recently inherited a found fortune?"

" If you mean the fortune of waking up to the sight of these men everyday, then yes. I am actually growing fond of my men, especially Nicholas. Come here Nicholas!" I turned as he stepped into view, standing beside me. I slung my arm around him, grabbing his face, " Is he not a sight? I have always had this idea to make my ship comfortable for men who feel the same way."

Sydney's eyebrow lifted preparing to challenge me, " Have I not seen you with women here on land?"

" Have you stayed to see the part where Nicholas also enters the room? Morigan I advise you try it at least once, I assure you it is a vivid experience." I linked my hands together, still leaving them linked around Nicholas' neck.

Sydney watched my hands connect, and I swear I saw his soul cringe and sink to the depths of this world, " As you were Knox." He slightly bowed his head, turned and dismissed himself with his men following him back towards the town.

I released Nicholas, turning to the rest of my men, " That gentlemen, is an example of avoidance, it is indeed a shame it does not always work on women." Laughter filled the end of the docs, and as I looked over my shoulder, I see Sydney turning back forwards, tripping along the wood. I nodded to no one in particular, " Eight men stay and watch the ship. If anyone attempts to cross the water onto the ship, you have my permission to do as fit."
