Abigail was just standing in this room surrounding by a bunch of guys. She waited eagerly for Michael to come back into the room because he was the only person she would know here. It felt like forever but she eventually heard someone say "Abigail?" in a confused way
"Hey.....there" she awkwardly said hoping he didn't think she was following him
"Are you following me?" he asked seeming to sound funny
"Don't flatter yourself Michael" she said finally able to relax
"Okay, so what are you really doing here?" he asked
"This is where I work now. I'm going to be taking pictures of you and yours friends while your on stage" she said showing him her camera
"Uh-oh" he said looking at the camera in her hand and then back at here. He went into the room and fully and took a seat on the floor because there was no room on the couches left.
Abigail came and sat down next to him. She was showing him the different button on her Nikon camera like the difference between landscape and portrait. OR the importance of using exposure during certain lighting's of the day. She was holding her camera firmly because she didn't trust anyone touching or using any of her cameras. It made her so nervous just having him attempt to hold it straight.
"Why uh-oh?" she asked
"Well having a beautiful girl take my picture while I sing might distract me" he said quickly hoping she didn't hear his compliment
She chose not to talk about the compliment.
"I thought you were a rapper"
"I am, but I'm trying to expand my ranges so half my audition is going to be rapping the other I'm going to attempt to sing"
She started giggling to herself and said "and what if you suck at singing?"
"Then I'm gonna hope that as my friend your not going to laugh at me"
"In front of you I promise but without you seeing no promises" she said putting out her hand for a hand shake on the not so formal agreement
Abigail started scrolling through her camera roll attempting to find a picture or pictures to post on Instagram while she was waiting for them to call her in to set up. Her and Michael were looking through her photos and videos together on the floor.
"What about this one?" he suggested
"No, that's more for like when something boring is happening and I notify my followers quickly" she said disregarding it
"This one?"
"I've already posted that one" she said as she cleaned the lens of her camera
"What's this video of?" he asked clicking on it but not clicking play. as he was about to push play her phone started to ring. "I think it's for you" he said handing her the phone
*On the phone - Lukas*
"Hey Lukas....I'm sorry I didn't call you back last night it's just been really hectic these last few days"
"It's okay, but did you get what I sent you?" he asked
"No...nothing has come to the house recently. What'd you send me that you didn't already send spending my graduation money on the postal service"
"This stupid Amazon website said it should already be at your house already" he yelled through the phone causing Abigail to remove it from her ear making her seem like she was going deaf
"Once again I ask what could you possibly have sent me?" she asked again
"Duh. A birthday present" he said
"I told you not to get me anything for my birthday dammit" she exclaimed hoping no one heard her screaming
Lukas stopped talking about the present when the tone of his voice changed from peaceful older brother to very serious. He was waiting until Abigail stopped talking and then he said "Have you been feeling any weird since we last talked"
"N- No-" she said cutting herself and getting up to finish the call out in the hallway. "Lukas it's getting harder to control it, because I'm always surrounded by people. Whether it's Ariana, or Colby, or at my new job. There's just so many people that don't know and can't know. Look I'm at work right now but I'll call you later when I get home" she said as she hung up the phone quickly fixed her hair and went back inside the room
At first Michael didn't say anything but then he whispered "based on the way you talk is that your boyfriend" he simply asked
"That was my brother, but thanks for making me question the way my brother and I argue over the phone together" she said wondering why she sounded like she was talking to her boyfriend. She didn't even know if Michael knew that she had a boyfriend.
"Abigail let's go we need you" Madison said barging into the room before Michael could say anything else to Abigail
She quickly got up and left the room taking her phone and camera with her.
Still in the room Michael was sitting on the floor and his best friend on set Jay came over to talk to him. "You got it bad" he said
"What are you talking about?" Michael dodged him
"It's obvious you have a thing for that girl. So why don't you just tell her that" Jay wondered
"Bro it's not that simple at all. There's something weird about her and I want to know what it is. Plus even if I did have a thing for her I'm pretty sure she has a boyfriend" he said repeating himself again from when they were at the beach the other day. "I don't wanna talk about this right now because I have to focus on my audition for today"
"If you end up wanting to tell her you know you got all of us in your corner" Jay said going back and sitting on the couch with a few other of the guys
All of the guys in the room continued to wait until they were called to stage to take their places to start their individual and then partner auditions in front of the judges.
