Madison is freaking out again, outside my door. I hear him yelling at Alexander and Franklin.

Adams is finally resting himself in his room. Washington is in his bedroom as well. It's just Franklin and Alexander--looking after Madison--because I'm too much of a coward to step out of my room to look after him.

I wish I could just go out there and look after my beloved--friend...

I hear a few slams on the wall, and a yell from Franklin, "James! Enough is enough! Calm yourself! You've just dented the wall!"

I hear Madison start crying, just a bit, I peak from my bedroom. He's looking at his hands, and muttering something only I can understand. "They're not here for me--they're not listening to me..."

"James..." Franklin walks over and looks at his hands, Alexander hugs him.

"None of you are listening! We're in danger!" then Madison started coughing, hugging onto Alexander, who was trying to comfort him. Franklin gives him pats.

"For gods sake--James..." muttered Alexander. "Don't do that again..." he adds.

I step back in my bedroom, but Franklin stops me with words, "James needs you, Jefferson, and you aren't accepting the fact? And you say you care about him? This is no way to show it! Get out here and be here for him!"

I hesitate, looking back at them, and then I look away, my eyes--cloudy. I walk in my room and shut the door...

I hear Adams coming out of his bedroom, he is speaking to Franklin and Alexander. "What is it you want, James? Ice Cream? Candy?"

"Jefferson..?" Franklin asks.

I freeze in my spot on my bed. They're not going to force me out...are they?

I hear a scratch at my door. From a finger nail.

"Very well." I hear a knock at my door. "Jefferson. Come out. Madison needs you." I hear Adams say.

I hear Franklin say to Adams, "He won't come out his room for that reason, John."

"Oh really?" Adams questions.

"Jefferson. Now! Don't make me have to go in there!" Adams says to me on the other side of the door, knocking again.

Madison starts crying, and my heart sinks. Then Adams bursts through my door. "Are you seriously an idiot?! Good god! Madison needs you! And you refuse to speak or even look at him?! I'm sick of it! You--COWARD!" I stare at him with great amazement for his yelling. I haven't seen that Adams for a while now! I don't say anything.

Adams grabs my arm and throws my guitar on my bed, dragging me to Madison. His grip was harsh--and it hurt...

Madison looks up at me with tearful eyes. I sigh, and look away, Adams is muttering dark things as he stomps away after letting me go. "Why?" asks Madison, choked by his tears.

I look away...

"Listen to me! Why?!"

I can't answer...

"Unbelievable!" Yells Adams, and he glares at me.

I don't reply...
