A knock is at my door, it's Washington. I get up and answer the door. "Yes?" I question. Washington steps aside, I look at him in confusion, but then I look ahead, I see Patty!
I gasp, and run over to my wife, hugging her close. She hugs me back. "Patty! How are you here?!" I ask, looking at her, still holding her in my arms.
"Apparently. Just like why you are here, Tom..." Patty says, smiling up at me.
"I'm surprised... who else is here?" I said, looking ahead, still hugging Patty close to me.
"Mrs. Dolley Madison, Mrs. Deborah Franklin, Mrs. Martha Washington, Mrs. Elizabeth Hamilton, and Mrs. Abigail Adams." Patty told me, pointing out who's who.
"I hope they didn't treat you ladies terribly..." I say, looking at them and then back at Patty.
"No. They actually gave us everything we wanted, Tom. They gave us a big house, and everything. We got a lot of money from them too." Patty says.
"Oh lord...Patty--that's amazing!" I say, smiling widely.
"Rhode Island brought us here. By that portal thing, she calls it." Patty says.
"Chrissy?" I ask, looking at Patty. "Yes Tom." Patty says.
"How do you know she's a state..?" I ask.
"She told us ladies, who didn't know, and she said we're the Founding Mothers. Alfred is here too." Patty says.
"Alfie? That's amazing! Where is he?" I say.
"Right here, dad!" A voice says, randomly appearing.
"America! Alfred! I'm so glad you're here with us!" I say, then I turn around, and I see how big and tall he's gotten. My eyes widen, "Alfred, you are tall now, and...big. How?" I ask.
"Well, let's just say I have fifty states now!" Alfred says.
"Fifty?!" I gasp in surprise, and backed up into my wife in shock. "Fifty states?!" I repeat.
"Yeah!" Alfred says, as loud as ever. "O-okay then...okay..." I am in shock.
"Don't you worry, Thomas. We were in shock too. Just as bad as you are right now. Calm down." Washington says, placing his hand on my shoulder.
I nod and went to sit down, Patty followed me. I hugged her close to me as we sat.
"Where's John, Mr. Jefferson?" Asked a voice, I look up, it was Abigail Adams. "No one would tell us where him nor Mr. Benjamin Franklin are..." she adds.
"Adams is in a coma, Franklin is with him in the hospital." I answer.
Abigail's eyes widened, "Who caused this--Mr. Jefferson?" She asks, angered, it seems.
"Um...accident..." I answered.
Abigail sat back in her seat, she was obviously not happy with my answer. Which is understandable... but, still...
"In a coma? Hmm? Where is the hospital he's in, Mr. Jefferson?" Abigail asks.
"Um... Johns Hopkins hospital." I say, we're in Mary-land, been in Mary-land.
Abigail nods, "Let's go, Deborah." She says, getting up from her seat. They exit, going to the hospital.
I sigh, looking at Patty. "I feel terrible..."
"Why?" Patty asks.
"It's my fault that Adams got in a coma..." I say.
"Tom. What do you mean?" Patty asks, looking at me, she had a surprised look on her face.
"I kept on ignoring Madison... Adams got angry at me, so he was telling me off, he angrily grabbed me, and Madison, being the protective man he is to those he cares about, threw him off me and across the room..." I explained, quietly to Patty.
"Why were you ignoring him, Thomas?!" Patty asks, she seemed upset with me.
"I felt that if I ignored him, his issues as of now, would not exist..." I say.
Patty slaps my chest, "You idiot..." she says.
"I know now, Patty. I do..." I look at her, and frowned.
"You better... Tom, you should apologize to him, and STOP ignoring him!" Patty says, I nod, "I'll try..." I say, sadly.
