The daughter of... (Loki x Reader)

Chapter 2

When you got back you unpacked what you bought while Steve arranged an emergency meeting with everyone including Fury. You had heard about Loki since you were young (You were only four when he came to earth so you don't remember). You were told he was terrifying but he didn't look frightening in the least.

...

Steve:" It's obvious what he's after."

Fury: "It'll be fine, we just have to make sure he can't get to her. Panicking will do nothing but make us vulnerable."

Bruce was looking more serious than normal.

Nat: "Bruce?" 

Bruce clenched his fists and growled, everyone panicked slightly before he loosened his grip and finally spoke.

Bruce: "Don't worry guys, no code green, (Y/N) has never seen him up close and I don't intend to change that."

After much deliberating they came out to find you asleep on the couch. Bruce picked you up and smiled. 

"I'll take the first watch." He said walking to your room and setting you down, sitting next to you on your bed and gently brushing some hair behind your ear.

"Don't worry (Y/N), I won't let him hurt you." He said as he placed a kiss on your forehead.

You woke the next morning to your aunty Nat sitting on a chair beside you and she told you that your dad wouldn't be doing the normal way of waking you today. 

"Fury wants to see you after breakfast along with your father." 

Bruce was in the kitchen making toast and you joined him, giving him a hug and having it returned with a sad smile.

"Morning dad!" You tried to brighten the mood with enthusiasm but to no avail.

"Good morning (Y/N)"

After breakfast you did as instructed and went to Fury with your dad.

Fury: "Welcome, now as you know Dr Banner is not your biological father."

You:"Yes I know."

Fury:"Well your real father..."

You:"Is dead and if he's alive then I don't want to know, I'm perfectly happy with the father I have."

Bruce:"(Y/N) you need to hear this so we can keep you safe, don't worry we're NOT trying to reconnect you TRUST ME."  You looked back to Fury.

Fury"As I was saying, he is a 'being' of sorts, someone very powerful and our outside sources say he was the one to orchestrate the battle of New York and gave Loki the army of chitauri."

You:"I-I...wait what?"

Fury:"His name is... Thanos."  The name sent shivers down your spine. You for the first time felt scared about this situation and although you felt frozen you had questions, too many questions.

You:"Is Loki working for him? If not what does he want from me? Does Thanos even know I exist?"

Bruce:"The answer to all of those questions is we don't know but we can guess that weather it's for Thanos or not he is after your power." 

You:"Power!?"

Fury:"(Y/N) you need to calm yourself, your powers haven't awakened yet but when they do he will no doubt know you exist."

"And thats where I come in." You heard a voice say behind you and turning around you saw Loki standing there, he looked at Fury and Bruce.

Loki:"I'll keep her safe." you looked to your dad and shared a moment of pure fear with him before you felt a pulling all over your body. You closed your eyes and waited for what was to come.
