I unlocked and opened the door only to find promise folding her arms and giving me a dirty look.
"oh you guys are back already?
"hello to you to Lizzy"she said with a calm voice
"Oh sorry,are you ok? "
"Who's the boy that dropped you off today?" she asked calmly again but with an attitude.
"what's up with the questions so you think you my mom now don't you? "
"oh.. listen here little girl! You need to change your attitude ok? As long as you still living under my man's roof,actually meant to say my house you need to show some respect are we together?" yelling causing me to jump
"you know what I actually don't have time for this I have important things to do hmm if you can excuse me please"i tried so many times to be nice to her but nothing works out she keeps on pushing me away
"I feel pity for you my dear,your attitude stinks and your manners make me wanna vomit I guess your mother never taught you enough about life hey "she said calmly with a evil laugh
"don't you dear talk about my mother you know nothing about her ok?" where on earth do she get the right to talk about my mom like that
"what's going on there "I heard my dad's voice causing both of us to turn
"she started all of... My day cut me off
I don't care who started or who did what !she is your Mom, you have to accept and show some respect if you not willing to make peace with her any time soon then you'll have to face me OK? She is part of this family now and we have to move on with our life's "he yelled it wasn't my intention to make my dad angry though but it hurts me so bad to see him defending Promise every time
"can we talk about this sometime dad cos I really need to take a shower "I was so mad to the fact that he never listens to me at all
"oh.. So now you back chatting when I talk to you huh!"his voice sounded like he's about to hit me I tried to move back every time he moved a step
"I really don't wanna argue with you dad "I said calmly
"what? I don't argue with kids cos when I talk you listen okay and you need to apologize to your mom now "looking straight into my eyes
I nodded."I'm sorry promise
"whatever!" She said while walking to the dining room
