In an instant, obviously not showing my vampire abilities to anyone, just walking really fast, I'm around the corner, that I saw that she was at, and I pulled her into me. I wasn't sure what I was doing, but it felt like the right thing to do.

I watched as her cheeks heated up, blushing at my movements, and then I noticed, how she was breathing a bit faster than usual, as if she was trying to get her blush to go away. I actually thought that her blush was kind of cute.

I motioned that I'm sorry, before doing what I came here to do. "What are you doing here, Darling?" I asked.

She didn't give me a reply, which gave me reason to believe that she had a secret and was hiding it. It was clear that either she didn't know, or she really didn't want anyone else to know, I myself, don't believe it to be the latter.

Her eyes widened a bit, as if she was almost scared to tell me the truth. I heard footsteps, and so I quickly looked around the corner, to see if he footsteps were coming our way.

This was a conversation that was between me and her, and I didn't want anyone listening in, or interrupting. Thankfully, though, they (the footsteps), were going to the next room, which meant that we were safe.

I grabbed her hand, as gentle as I could, and pulled her through the crowds that parted to let us through. I couldn't care less what other people thought about me. We'd already graduated anyway, so it really didn't matter what they thought.

"What's your name?" She asked, trying to start a conversation between us, to which I didn't answer, as I was too busy trying not to kill every human that came close to me. She helped though, her scent was a delightful mix of several flowers: jasmine, lily and rose.

I knocked on the door of the living room, which Carlisle, and Esme, currently are in, hid away from the party.

I knew that she was my mate, and now I didn't want to lose her, so I kept her as close to me, as I could.

"You know you can come in." Carlsile's voice sounded through the room. I went to go in, but stopped myself as I did so. She asked me what my name was, after all. "Jasper." She looked at me, an adorable expression of confusion in her eyes, and I knew that she didn't quite understand.

"It's my name. Jasper."
