keeping secrets

new neighbors or old friends?

I lead Megan and Madison back over to Megan's house and a lady I'm guessing Megan's mother because she's busts out the front door and sprints over to us and engulfing Megan in a hug. Madison and I just stand there not knowing how to react, but after a few second the lady puts her down.

"Hi, thank you so much. I'm Lydia Smith, we just moved back in." She says out of breath

"No, No its totally fine, really. This is my younger sister Madison and my name is De-." she cut me off

"Demi Lovato! I know your family very well." she says sticking out her hand for me to shake

I cautiously take it and shake it lightly

"Nice to meet you gain?" I say confused

"Awe you were only a toddler when we moved out and back to Austin." she says giving a reassuring smile

I'm still confused on why my parents didn't mention it.

"Well in glad you're back on our stree-" she cut me off once again

"Eric!" she called yelling into her house

"Eric's my son and Megan's older brother, you guys sued to play with each other when you were younger." she explain talking extremely fast I can barely tell what she's saying

"Eric!?" she all again

I pulled Madison closer to me as a very handsome boy walked out of the house and up to us.

"Hey princess." he said picking up his little sister and kissing her on the cheek while she giggles

My heart immediately melts away as I try not to drool over a boy about my height with thick brown hair, tan skin, and blue eyes brighter than his sisters. He sets down his little sister and holds out is hand to me

"Hey, I'm Eric and you must be Demi. My mom has old me so much about you, apparently we used to be pretty good friends when we were 3." he jokes flashing me a perfect grin as I take his hand
