A month on

These past weeks has been full of ups and downs. Its been a month now since i started college. Maddison and i are like best friends now, i'm not saying that i've forgotten Alexis;of course not  she's still my best friend and will always be. she's been in touch a lot. I found out that, she liked her college and that things are going well between Mark and her, 'my American boyfriend' or so she calls him. I told her about college and how i made new friensds with Maddison, Aidan and Justin. she sent me a picture of her and mark. Damn he's so cute but not as cute as Aidan.

I showed the picture to Maddison the other day.

'This is the Alexis that i've been talking about, i said showing her the picture.

'Oh! my she's pretty and who's that hot stuff Maddison said coming closer to have a better look at the picture.

' That hot stuff Maddison is Mark her boyfriend, i replied.

'Oh, i'm so jealous, Maddison said looking closely at the picture. I've always wanted to go to America' she said out of the bloom. I've heard that the boys there are like super hot.

Oh! well, i think there're hot boys everywhere Maddison, i said.

Oh yeah! she said clearly sounding obessesed with American boys. Maddison is very selective sometimes, like when we went shopping the other day, there were this skirts which were like lacy and flowery and she wanted one, i mean come on, she practically stood there for like ages deciding on which one to chose, even though they were the same in colour, pattern and shape. she's a funny one Maddison.

Yesterday we went to a party at this boy Jason's house, i don't even know him but Maddison does, she said something about him being her ex or whatever, i wasn't listening very well then. Mum wasn't very happy with that idea, not only because i was going to a boy's party but the facts that i didn't know him and well also the fact that Aidan was coming to pick me up and take me there.

Mum has met both Aidan and Justin and she wasn't that weird around them, she actually liked them and said they were adorable.Who say that to seventeen year old boys, i mean come on they're not kids. she's also met Maddison like a few times, as we've been kind of busy going shopping and just hanging out over the month and getting to know each other well. She even met some of my other friends from college. We've all been hanging out, having fun and getting to know each other over these couple of days.

At around 8.00pm, Aidan arrived to escort me to this party, it wasn't a birthday party or anything, it was just a party no special occasion, weird i thought. Aidan arrived quite early, so he had to wait whiles i got ready, it felt a bit like prom even though it wasn't, i was glad to have someone escort me because i didn't have no boy to escort me to prom, i went with Alexis and her date, kind of sad, isn't it; she didn't mind though so it was all ok. we had lots of fun that day. it became one of my favoirte days. 

As it was on a week day mum was home and i could hear her  when she opened the door.

'Oh hi Aidan do come in, Sarah's still getting ready, so you might have to wait a while. Girls! huh, i could hear her say as she closed the door and lead Aidan to the living room. I don't know why but i was nervous, i didn't even know whether it was the thought of having  Aidan waiting downstairs for me or the thought of going to a party which i didn't have a clue who the hoster was and neither did Aidan.

As i was about to put on my ear rings, i got a text from Alexis.

'so are you ready yet! Send me a picture of what you wear. oh and have fun. Me and Mark are staying in at his place to watch a movie. I want so badly to come with yo to this party but can't, it would have been like old times. By the way how are things between you and this Aidan boy, i haven't heard about you two in a while'.
